Patient to Dr. Adams -- You Ruined My Life

In a lawsuit filed less than two weeks ago, another woman claims she's the victim of medical malpractice at the hands of Dr. Jan Adams.

In a lawsuit filed in Orange County Superior Court on October 31, 2007, Rhonda McClain claims Dr. Adams and Euclid Outpatient Surgery Center were responsible for "mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering."

TMZ spoke with McClain about the surgery, conducted on March 10, 2007. She told us she's now left with one implant and claims she nearly bled to death. She also says Dr. Adams has ruined her life.

16. I am the mother of one of the women that Dr Adams disfigured and I can blatantly assure you that my daughter is not a "Sue-Happy Bitch!!"

We thought that we did all the rights things prior to the surgery, and did check this man out. (After all, he had been endorsed by Oprah and had appearances on the Discovery channel). Unfortunately, the amount of information that is available to the public is limited and, short of checking every county in the state of California, there is no way to be certain.

My daughter spent weeks in bed following her surgery, was bruised from her neck to her hip, and had to have a mass of blood clots removed. She now has 'one' breast, and the emotional anguish she's suffered in unlike anything that one should have to endure.

The FACTS are not all in yet and, once they are, I am confident that these Sue Happy Bitches will be viewed in a very different manner.

Now, California take his damn license away and investigate those cases and move on. Dang! Next you're going to post a story about his high school sweetheart who sued for mental anguish or something....find something else to report about!

22. I have been a patient of Dr Adams and there was never anything fishy about my treatments or procedures.

He was a little curt in communicating, but he is a doctor and they can all be that way.

Remember, there are 3 sides to every story: his, hers and the truth.

I SUPPORT DR. ADAMS UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE!

26. People should always remember that surgery and anesthesia is risky for anyone. Cosmetic surgery (breast reductions/augmentations and lip suction) are VERY risky procedures. Patients are required to sign off on the risks BEFORE they even go under. Ms. West could have experienced something as a result of being put under anesthesia or as a side effect of her procedure. No doctor is perfect when it comes to surgeries. Every person's body reacts differently. This doctor should not be bashed. Would he be all over the news if the patient was just a Jane Doe? NO..... He is now in the spotlight because it was Kanye West's mother. I would HOPE that they did all the necessary research and called former patients in regards to Dr. Adams' work. That is what ANY normal/non-celebrity person would do. I think that this is an isolated case and noone will know the outcome for the cause of death UNTIL the autopsy is performed.

30. I agree b4 we condemn this doctor to hell lets find out if he is truly @ fault here. Doctors are human beings not God's they can only work with the canvas that is already here.
