33. Why didn't producers at Oprah, Discovery etc...check out this guy before allowing him on network television???
Time for these shows to get a new staff.
I believe half of what I hear on television anyway.
That's why so many people are turning to the internet for news and information.
No ratings invovled. And no awjward news hype just designed to draw ya in.

36. Year's ago, Oprah went to Mexico and found Dennis Hopper living on the street's. Picked him up, brushed him off, and now he's a big star. He was drunk and on drug's. Everyone just focuses on the bad stuff and never the good. And not everyone is perfect with the perfect life and the perfect judgment's. I am willing to bet she was not the one that booked him either.

41. Hi...I am so glad to have watched this piece. I work in TV News business and I loved the last line of your piece when you correctly pointed out that good looks sell. Yeah all these shows should be sued by viewers so that producers and anchors don't just sit on their asses but do some real work.

42. Oprah promoted Dr. Jan Adams on her show. That is a seal of approval in my book. He was the goto guy about Plastic surgery for the Oprah show. Even though he was not a board certified plastic surgeon, that has three DUIs. Many complaints, Also has the wife beater charges.

You're pretty naive to think ratings aren't involved in internet news. They get paid every time someone clicks on their website. More hits = more money
