108. While it's easy to blame Bonds - and I do, MLB as a whole is equally to blame for not suspending him when he tested postive. The bottom line was they enjoyed the TV ratings and ticket sales Bonds generated and now he's gonna be left to hang out and dry.

The good news for me is his conviction (and he'll be convicted) will erase his record and Aaron will remain the legitimate record holder.

110. What is all this black and white krap? Has anyone looked at Hank Aaron lately, last time I checked he was black. The point: It doesn't matter. We all love him because he did it the old fashioned way - He earned it! Ain't it amazing that all these records stood for years, but when steriods got involved in the game, all of the sudden we have people bustin records left and right. Give me a break. McGuire, Sosa, Bonds - all should be stripped of any records cause they cheated - bottom line.

112. For the record, Barry Bonds never tested positve for anything, the issue is whether he ''knowingly'' took a banned supplement. Did anybody know that the goverment leaked the indictment to the media before they informed him. Barry Bonds is walking.

113. I wonder why they didn't slam Jason Giambi for taking steroids, and he admitted that he took them. theres a double standard when it comes to how the goverment handles it's cases. Micheal Vick was caught up in a case that didn't involve him, the FEDS were investigating a drug operation when they stumbled upon a dogfighting ring which VICK wasn't involved in just funded by him. The Barry Bonds situation is a lot easier to fight because he being charged with perjury which is very hard to prove, The issue is did he know ''what'' he was ''taking'' when he was ''taking'' ''it''.

114. I haven't read a lot of these posts , but I can't understand how somebody can sit up and type all kinds of racist crap about people who they have never met. It seems like when someone is acused of something without being convicted, everybody assumes that person is guilty, then when the outcome of the trail isn't what they thought it would be, That assumption turns to anger, how could some people be so angry over somebody that doesn't even know thet exist.

116. hey #118, do you think his trainer is going to testify against him? The goverment leaked the indictment to every media outlet before they informed him. There's something fishy about that. I don't see what the big deal is, Jason Giambi admitted to using steroids and he's allowed to play, plus the media has swept it under the rug. The media treated Jose Canseco like he commited a sin when he wrote the book and testified in front of the senate, those other guys [ Rafael Palmero , Mark MAguire, Sammy Sosa ] didn't want to sit next to him. Ivan Rodriguez plays for detoit and he lost weight after Canseco ratted him him out, so the Bonds thing is not going to hold up.

117. I am so sick and tired of all this race card crap. Barry Bonds is a cheater, right along with Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa, Giambi, Canseco and all the other steroid jerks in professional sports. Baseball as I knew it and loved it is long gone. Todays atheletes are over paid and big on hot dogging it all over the field. Hey I was never a Giants fan but boy did I love to see Mayes play and McCovey. And the biggest thrill of my life was going to see Sandy Koufax pitch 9 innings and seeing guys strike out left and right....and I am talking honest power hitters. Baseball has come to such a low and I seriously think that whether Bonds is prosecuted or not, doesn't matter much. Yes he needs to be stripped of all awards, and barred forever from baseball and the Hall of Fame. But each and every cheater needs to join his butt, whether they are black or not. I am sick to death of this garbage that the whites are jealous of the blacks and vice versa. Grow up and stop looking at a human beings color....look at him or her and their actions. Barry Bonds is a disgrace, right along with each and every athelete that has ever used steroids.

Do you want boring baseball with regular guys or exciting baseball with steroid guys?
People want more more more, faster, longer, harder, but it's not normal. Humans just can't do certain things without some "help".

Maybe we need a steroid league and a non-steroid league.

And don't tell me the old time greats didn't use. We really don't know what they got their hands on. Funny how many of them died on the young side, fell apart in their older years and didn't age well.
