47. that is totally ridiculous!!! it was bad enough she go a reduced sentence to ne day, now this?! and her community servic is at the red cross... normal people don't get nice community service like that.. they get pickig up trash on the side of the road or working at Goodwill. This is a travesty to the judicial system. Unbelievable.

49. For a normal person, rehab does not count as taking the place of jail time. Rehab, is something that you might do for yourself, but if you do the crime, you gotta do the time.

57. Until someone gets around to changing the law, ANY part of a day counts as a full day in jail in California. I know. I used to work for LA Sheriff. With the jails being overcrowded with heavy-duty felons, misdemeanors are just not held long. Get two days? Get booked before midnight and released just after midnight. Two days. Pfft. It's a ridiculous system, but until the legislature and courts change it, that's the way it'll be. BTW, it's that way for ANYONE, not just celebrities.

You can get away with murder in California if you are an actor/actress, however crappy you might be. Justice died long ago in California.
In the rest of this country it is teetering along with a fascist president.
