Dr. Adams and the Plastic Surgery Nightmare -- The Pix

This lovely woman was left with horrific scars after a surgery performed by Dr. Jan Adams.

TMZ TV interviewed Julie Coleman, who says her body is "marred for life," after she appeared as a patient on Dr. Jan's Discovery Health show "Plastic Surgery: Before and After."

Coleman gave TMZ photos of her body right after the operation.

WARNING: These pictures are extremely graphic.

35. In totality these pictures are awful. It is sad that this woman had to go through this suffering. But the photos are single data point, and they may or may not reflect the skill of Dr Adams. But it looks like some malpractice attorneys, medical experts and a judge/jury will sort the matter out in court.

Thanks TMZ for opening the eye of the public to the dark side of plastic surgery. A lot of these TV shows only show the good side of cosmetic surgery with operations being performed by glamorous "super" TV star doctors. But like everything in life there are risks with cosmetic surgery and the public should know what they are too.

Maybe this will spawn a new reality TV show -- "When Plastic Surgery Goes Wrong" Hmmm... But who could they get to host it?? Harvey, I can feel a TMZ spin-off maybe... LOL...

Imagine waking up to that! She had to be in some incredible pain.

They probably told her it was normal, everything is fine just fine dear..
Someone or someone(s) at Discovery Health Network knew about this guy and the problems he has had. There should be a investagation.

38. EVERY woman and/or man who is contemplating or considering cosmetic surgery should first enter psychotherapy prior to embarking on that invasive journey! These surgeries come under the category of MAJOR SURGERY (meaning sedation) and one can never be cautious enough. If a person can afford to pay for these surgeries, then they (apparently) have the monies to hire expert physical trainers to assist them in getting their bodies in the shape they are desiring through cosmetic surgery. With rare exception, I hold the "patient" of a botched surgery responsible along with the surgeon they have "chosen".

Mrs. West was WILLFUL and went against the advice of a solid cosmetic surgeon. Her vanity was, obviously, so strong that she chose to toss away her successful life because she, apparently, did not feel good about her body. In every photo I saw of her, she looked great for her age (looked almost as young as her son). Although she is deceased, her family needs to take responsibility for her having chosen Dr. Adams against the advice of the first cosmetic surgeon who refused to perform any surgery for her until she received a 100% medical clearance!

41. My final thought on this ridiculously drawn out story (TMZ it's a shame you are not as concerned with all the clubs you could bust serving underage kids alcohol)
I am all for fair reporting, and truth be told, you do NOT know the circumstances of this woman's surgery. You do NOT know for a fact that she took care of her wounds, you do NOT know whether or not she tampered with his work to file a malpractice claim, and you should NOT assume that wouldn't happen. That being said, it's pretty clear this doctor is bad news, but the DUI's and allegations of battery/physical assault against his wife are more convincing. I have worked in a hospital for over a decade and have access to the info.... the most highly respected, most popular, and genuinely good person doctors almost ALL have malpractice suits on their record, at least the ones that have been practicing over 10 years.

Now, come on TMZ - it's to the point where it's proven beyond a shadow of a doubt this guy doesn't deserve to practice medicine, you're starting to look a little loony going after this guy the way you are.......... maybe you could go back out on the street now and point some cameras at the back door of Hyde and watch the 18 year olds sneak out drunk. At least you might actually save a life that way, instead of exposing someone that already killed someone.

42. It looks like Dr. Slash and suck removed to much of that huge belly flesh trying to make her look alot thinner for is TV show...... and the sutures could not even begin to hold her shut.

Then after she finaly heals she gains all the fat back.... what a jack ass!

People starve around the world but we like total pigs and pay a whack job to cut it off!

Dieting is cheap.... save your money you pigs! Feed the poor!
