Dr. Adams and the Plastic Surgery Nightmare -- The Pix

This lovely woman was left with horrific scars after a surgery performed by Dr. Jan Adams.

TMZ TV interviewed Julie Coleman, who says her body is "marred for life," after she appeared as a patient on Dr. Jan's Discovery Health show "Plastic Surgery: Before and After."

Coleman gave TMZ photos of her body right after the operation.

WARNING: These pictures are extremely graphic.

77. Hey, has everyone forgotten about Dr. Robert Rey, aka Dr. 90210. He was mentioned last night on the show for not being board certified in ANYTHING!! I'm kind of surprised that there is no mention of him today. Maybe he has his expensive lawyers on the story, or maybe, because his show is owned by Fox 11 which also airs TMZ they were told not to mention Dr. 90210. He is not a real plastic surgeon. He just plays one (an arrogent one at that) on t.v.!

81. I can't imagine living with scars like hers. She is a very brave woman and I hope we all learn from her. Thanks for opening minds to what can go wrong with plastic surgery.

83. Wait a minute: if these were taken right after surgery....they have to be looked at in that context. My best friend had breast reduction surgery...and her scars looked very similar to that woman. However....one year later...her breasts looked great and the scars went down.
Three years later, the scars were very faint. But after the surgery, they were raw, ugly, and looked similar to these pictures.

It seems you are calling this guy guilty without evidence: many prominent LA plastic surgeons have lost patients during or after an operation. Let's see if women come forward with good surgery results.

85. TMZ has gone way overboard crucifying this dr. with nothing but the patient's side of the story. Does anyone know if the patient followed post-op instructions? If she was completely truthful with her doctor? If there were other extenuating circumstances? People -- it's completely routine for docs to settle malpractice suits because it costs too much to fight them. It means nothing in terms of guilt. Nobody should be assuming this guy is a quack without evidence, and TMZ shouldn't be on the rampage to destroy him without all of the facts in this case, in the case of Kanye West's mom, or any of the others.

87. "63.
Disturbed - I think I know why you weren't posted

Appreciate your comments but there stupid"

Would that be 'there' or 'they're'?

I just love when a dumbass tries to call someone stupid and in the process, does something so stupid as to spell a simple word wrong.

88. "but had i been able to dig deep into this doctors history i probobly would not have had the surgey....."
You mean like the 3 hours it took for TMZ to uncover it all?

'I showed them to TMZ but was unaware they would be posting them for all the world to see....'

Gee, this *IS* TMZ.... and that thought never crossed your mind, really?

I think you just explained why a) had the surgery, and b) didn't know better.......

89. Everything looks very standard to me. Minor separation of the sutures is a common complication. The scarring is also common and expected. If you think this looks bad, you are ignorant about plastic surgery. I guarantee you Dr. Adams warned her explicitly about the possibilities of complications and scarring. But she ignored the warnings and begged hom to do it anyway. Funny how there are no before pictures.

Ok, for the LAST time...... before you posted that, do you know whether Dr. Rey has ever CLAIMED he was board certified? Or are you just assuming he said it, like the other bright individuals on these threads?
