Lets Get This Party Started
Nicole Brown Simpson's Story Was Almost Told

Nicole Brown SimpsonWhile Denise Brown, Nicole Brown Simpson's sister, has no problem railing against O.J. for writing a book about her sister's murder, she nearly did the same thing almost 10 years ago.

According to Rush & Malloy, back in 1998, Denise approached Judith Regan -- the same woman who is suing HarperCollins over O.J.'s "If I Did It" -- about a book that would have featured Nicole's own diaries. Regan even secured Brown a $1 million deal. The only problem was that Denise didn't have the rights to Nicole's memoirs.

The book never made it to print. Sources tell Rush & Malloy that not only did Brown "turn down every writer," she "couldn't remember many stories about Nicole."

Brown told Larry King last year, "It turned into a tabloid version ... And I wasn't going to do that. I cannot sell out. I don't care how many millions of dollars people offer me. I cannot sell my sister to the Devil."

Simon Cowell: Botox? Yes. Gay? No

Simon Cowell"American Idol" judge Simon Cowell tells the Daily Mail that while he hasn't had any cosmetic surgery, he has had Botox. That's close though, right?

He tells the paper, "Yes, I've had Botox, but not in an obsessive way. Then again, every guy I know who works in the city has had it now."

Cowell also debunks the rumor that he wears a wig ("No, it's all real"), and by the way, he's not gay. He says, "If I was, why hide it? It's not as if the music business would be an odd place for a gay man to work."

Party Favors: Live from New York, You're Out of Work ... Uma's Stalker Is Guilty -- Or Not

As the WGA strike reaches week two, NBC staple "Saturday Night Live" laid off nearly its entire production staff, Page Six is reporting. While one source told the paper that nearly 90% of the staff was let go, another tells the paper, "'SNL' laid off all their staff until further notice. Their production staff, even long-term employees, were let go." ... Jackson Jordan was in court yesterday to answer to charges of stalking "Pulp Fiction" beauty Uma Thurman. When asked for his plea, he told the judge, "I plead guilty. I mean, I plead not guilty." The judge refused to lower his bail and sent him back to jail.

20.
Denise Simpson should just back off. I don't feel she is in the right on this one at all.
She has made a career out of her sisters death, although a very honorable one. Fred Goldman's son was not abused by OJ he was murdered or I'm sure he would have taken the same path. Fred is doing the only thing he can to disrupt OJ's life, I do not blame him at all.
Post # 3, that is a juvinile way of seeing the relationship Denise had with her sister. And I am certain she was not glad Nicole was murdered.
She just may feel she has the first and only rights to her sisters death, and does not, her sister was not alone that night..

29. Denise Brown confuses me. I am not sure what her agenda is but as for her tirades against the Goldman familys choices, she needs to back off. The Goldmans are doing what they have to do and as far as the comment "they need to get over it". You are stupid and insensitive. Look at the murder pictures and tell me if that was your loved ones, would you get over it? Seeing every bit of evidence at the trial and seeing the murderer get off, you would need to get over it? I don't think so. I have the feeling the Simpson may get off again when he goes to trial. I for one hope not but I am just not sure. He is a poor excuse for a human being and being black has nothing to do with it. He has gone through his entire life thinking that the rules don't apply to him. Well he is not the adored man he thinks he is.....Denise tried to get a book out but didn't have the rights...if she had I am sure she would have published her sisters diary. I applaud her helping battered women but she needs to leave the Goldmans alone. I admire them for their courage and having the attitude to never let this tragedy go. If it was your brother who had fought for his life, and saw his killer aquited, would you still let it go? Maybe go to a golf course and get an autograph?

30. It is interesting that after all these years it still strikes a cord within people. In the eyes of a criminal trial this man was found innocent ... yet in a civil trial he was convicted. I followed the trial like so many others. It was a gastly death for two people and perhaps we will never know but since someone brought up the book my Mr. Bugliosi I think it only fair that another book be introduced. The book below looks at the murders from 3 perspectives, the prosecution, defence and independant testing and investigation.

"Killing Time: The First Full Investigation into the Unsolved Murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman "

I found it most interesting to find that Mr. Goldman had a number of his co workers murdered or disappear over time and that Mr. Goldmans former boss was found murdered almost 1 year before with very similar stab wounds and his neck severed.

It is a shame that with Ms. Simpson, Mr. Goldman and Ms. Resniks friend being murdered mysteriously without finding the individual or individuals who commitied that crime that the public would still be unaware of this situation.

Maybe it will take an individual to try some of their own tests to come to a conclusion of their own. If Mr. Simpson was a white athlete and Mr. Goldman was African American would things be different?

What will the scenario be if someone or group of people eventually are brought to justice. One of the highest profile athletes of a generation have been taken away because of our inability to accept a jury ... the decision of innocense.
I
s it because that we dont want to believe that there was anyone else but Mr. Simpson that could have been responsible?

This issue should not be based on emotions. Mine isnt. I am 50 odd year old man that grew up in Canada watching OJ simpson playing football for USC - Buffalo Bills - San Fransisco and then make movies ...

Is Mr. Goldman willing to look at the possibility that his son could have been involved in matters that put him in harms way. Someone will ask him that question someday as he continues to keep this matter alive in the public.

With all the reporters that TMZ .. I am sure one of them may ask the question ...

Thank you
