R. Kelly's Publicist: I Believe I Can Quit!

R. KellyRegina Daniels, who worked as R. Kelly's publicist for 14 years, has formally announced her decision to end all ties with the platinum pisser. What took her so long?

In her statement, Daniels writes, "I have prided myself on loyalty, respect and professionalism. It saddens me that I was not always shown those same courtesies during my 14-year tenure as Mr. Kelly's publicist ... There are some lines that should never be crossed professionally or personally. Mr. Kelly crossed a line that forever altered the scope of our relationship. For this reason I made the decision to resign." Daaaaaamn!

Five years ago R. Kelly was charged with 14 counts of child pornography. He has yet to go to trial, but proceedings should kick off next spring.

91. That's cool anonymous. I saw your post though and let me say you have a good point too. R. Kelly doesn't even care about himself, let alone his kids. He's a sickening perv but you got to feel for his daughters.

This whole thing is a tragedy as a whole. Anyone that's ever heard R. Kelly's music can see he's a very talented man. Such as shame such talent is in the mind of an obviously sick man. Let's pray that he gets convicted if for no other reason than to get him off the streets (so to speak) and perhaps get him some help.

93. To #80, what you say may be true but I think anonymous' point should be noted here. R. Kelly's only victims aren't just those underage girls (and you have to wonder HOW much of a victim they really are) but his children. He may not care about setting an example BUT his kids are still victims. Also, you do not have to be condesending and insulting to get your point across.

To #84, your comments aren't even worth acknowledging since most child molestors are white males. #80 I understand but your comments aren't even showing a lick of intelligence.

To #95, thanks for compliments.

94. UHHHH! EGriffin? Here's your brilliant quote:
"Dailyorange, Eric and Vanity are the only TWO posters that make any sense."
That's THREE there, diptard!
Use your fingers ... ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR ... etc.
Study hard and go get your G.E.D. - McDonald's will then make you a shift manager
and you'll be taking home $16,000 a year. You can get that '88 Ford Escort that you've had your eye on!

95. Ugh, go back and read the comment underneath where I corrected myself sir. Also, I work for an NBC affiliate and I have a college education.

As I said earlier, you are condescending and now we see you are ignorant. Probably somebody that has yet to grow up.

Go ahead and insult me some more. It'll just reveal more about you than it will about me. Peace.

96. By the way, go to page six to see where I corrected myself. That is if you know how. *wink along with sarcastic grin*

97. Good point Cornbread. I still think R. Kelly is ultimately responsible because he's the adult! However, by the time you are 14, you have some sense of right and wrong! Not only on this girl but guys that young too. Still, R. Kelly could've said no to the girl but he didn't. I see your point but its ultimately the responsibility of the adult in that situation.

98. Thanks....But I guess my question would be......
How would he know that she was only 14?
I'm sure she got into a club/concert whatever with a fake ID. Then peeped her out and took her back to his place and she willingly had sex wih him and everything else that went down that night, and then afterwards she did not get the $$$, fame or pair of sneakers she wanted and she deciced to come out with it! The girl just looked too old to even raise any question about age, I wouldn't have asked her how old she was since she looked older than me at the time!
I know he should be more resposible...but when it comes to relations...no offense Men think with the wrong head!

I'm sorry us females are spiteful & vindictive and when we are woman, (or girls in this case) scorned we do some pretty messed up Sh*t to hurt the man who hurt us!

99. To #36--Victoria

People like you are what is so screwed up in this country. You are more willing to hold CHILDREN to a higher standard of accountability than an adult music star. What is wrong with you? Are you retarded? Sounds to me like you are. Thankfully the law doesn't hold CHILDREN accountable for making mistakes. . .let's hope your child is never propositioned by someone in a position of power. You idiot!!!!!

100. Well, if you're working for NBC it probably won't be for long. They would be FOURTH in a line of THREE!

101. Yawn. Chris, stick to the subject instead of making comments about someone you don't even know (me in this case). Your ignorance is showing big time. Not to mention your insult doesn't even make elementary sense and as for my employment, I don't think I have anything to worry about. If you are refering to the writers strike, it doesn't affect my job so that insult doesn't even make a dent.

Now back the subject at hand, #105 does make a valid point. While I do see what Cornbread is saying, I don't think kids should be held to the same standard as an adult. True, some of them are devious and will pull stunts they know they shouldn't be doing (such as having sex with grown men) but as an adult, he should've said no or at least had her checked out. He has the moral responsibility under the law, not the child.

R. Kelly is a great artist but possessed a very sick mind. As I said earlier, its a shame such a man with such talent will be remembered as a pervert that couldn't control himself and get help for his vices for the sake of his career, his family (he does have three kids, two of them girls ironically enough) and for his soul.

I guess Dave Chappelle will have more material to talk about for one of his stand ups soon!

103. Cornbread, you are so full of garbage. First of all, either you did not see the video, or you are lying through your teeth. If you saw that video there is no way in hell that anyone would or could mistake that child for a grown woman or even an 18 year old. Moreover, this was no damn groupie!!! This was the niece of Sparkle, a woman whom Kelly had made a record with. He met this child through her aunt. He knew that this was a little girl. Now, the other chicks in the video...yes...they appeared to be legal.

There are indeed some 14-year olds whom you would think are 20...this was not one of them. Like I said, her breasts were not even fully developed. Also, she was clearly drugged and out of it by the time he had her taste the substance that was in the box. If you noticed, she became less animated and appeared to be barely concious as time went on. Do not give Kelly a pass on this garbage. He is a child molester. He deserves to be placed underneath the jail. Period.

104. Hey yes,
If you had any knowledge of the law you would know that a CHILD (which is what a 14 year old is) cannot give consent. It is RAPE, PERIOD!
