The Los Angeles Lakers trounced the Chicago Bulls last night at Staples Center, much to the chagrin of Mel Gibson and his son.

Courtside seats for Lakers games usually run over $2,000 a piece. Why's Mel so glum? Perhaps because he was roundly booed when his face appeared on the Jumbotron. We're told that Mel then stuck out his tongue, causing further booing.

Oh come on. He didn't have to sit courtside knowing he would be seen by everyone with his kid there. Im sure he knows how the public could respond to him after his racist rant. I agree it was way wrong for them to boo him with his kid there.Maybe he should of sit up at the top to shield his kid. Duh????

Everyone has skeletons true, but you dont expose your kid to it at an NBA game people. Obviously everyone taking up for him does not have kids.

Gimme a break...should he not be allowed to go out in public with his kid because people are judgemental?

I have two kids, and I rather enjoy spending time with them out.

Ok Kathy, your getting on my nerves. Of course he should be able to go out in public with his kid like we like to. He is a celebrity who did a stupid racist thing to a cop. He is suffering the consequences. His kids should not have to. He did not have to sit courtside where he knew he would be putting his kid in the public eye. Why cant you see my point? He does not need to put his kids in the publics eye until this has blown over. He has been seen at many bars since he has done this. That was after rehab to, Geez.

seen at bars drinking, or seen at bars? I've been in bars before and not drank...lots of times.

i thought you were a better person than that . i think prayer is in order for you.
i wont forget that mr. gibson helped many people including me for sharing his story .
just leave the poor peoples kids out of it that goes for poor britneys kids too. please.
