93. My brother and his wife lost their 19 day old son from SIDS 5 months ago. Then to hear that these 2 babies are being overdosed by people we are suppose to trust with our children... professionals...its sad and disturbing. Jokes and name calling should not even be told here...this is serious. These 2 newborn babies are fighting for their lives because of the incompetency of medical professionals. SCARY!!! If I were the Quaids, there would be some major problems and major lawsuits going. I know that a lawsuit or the firing of the nurses or doctors that did this, but it will be known that it wont happen to other babies or children or adults. With this said.... GOOD LUCK and GODSPEED to the Quaid family in this time that prayer and love is needed.

94. Healthcare in the USA has gotten completely out of hand. Tragedies like this happen every single day, we just don't hear about them. My own father died 5 years ago from hospital error, the worst day of my life. Take heed and if one of your own family ever needs to be hospitalized, ALWAYS have someone there with them 24/7 and ask questions about every single vial of medicine, etc. that they are receiving. You are their best and often only advocate. You can't afford to let mistakes get made and this is what is happening in our overcrowded and overworked hospitals.

95. What a terrible thing for these babies & parents to have to go through . May the LORD GODbe with them all four . The person whom moved this vial should be fired immediately for not telling any one it was moved & the nurse should also be fired or given time off without pay for not checking the vial before she used it . This is something that could have been completely avoided if the nurse had taken a few seconds to read the vial before useing it , which is supposed to be done in the first place .

96. Everyone... Mr. Quaid and his family probably do not read this site, so offering your prayers is a great thing, everyone should pray for these babies, but keep in mind messages sent here are probably never going to get to the family. Send your prayers to God.

And for the rest, I am hopeful I am right that no one in that family reads this, because that would be a shame to have to listen to/read your stupid heartless remarks while going through what they are. Perhaps this Thanksgiving you should give thanks that you have never had to deal with anything on this level. If you had, you would know how stupid you sound.

This message board is an interesting study of human nature, or lack thereof. Everyone on here is like an ant on an ant farm, some are sicker than others and probably not good for the whole. Too bad there's not someone with a pair of "tweezers" to pluck out the bad ants so the world could live more civilized. This is a tragedy, but I suppose there are some that think these kinds of things could NEVER happen to them......whatever.

Please put the angels of heaven with these parents during this tragic time. We ask that you stand guard over these twins that you gave life to, as you hold them in your healing hands. Protect them from the effects of these drugs, that were so carelessly given to them.

Send your Holy Spirit to convict the spirit of those responsible for this tragedy, that they might feel the burden of the pain this family is going through. Send your Holy Spirit to the many thoughtless people on this site, that do not have the mind to commit this situation into your hands without interjecting their hateful thoughts, that they too would feel this families pain.

It does not matter if these babies were born through a surroggate or not, at this time the only thing that matters is that THESE ARE BEAUTIFUL GIFTS FROM YOU, FATHER.

Protect them we pray
