35. Its simple. Dr west was a very sick woman who signed a waiver on the surgery. She has a pre existing condition. The West family does not want her illness to hurt her legacy.
Larry King is finished !

37. This doctor is an F up. He has a long line of bad history. He is done in the medical field. Due to this story, konye's (sp?) music was on tv. You would have to be deaf to sit through one of his concerts.

40. I've watched this coverage for over a week now...even the folks at FoxNews were debating about it.
As a surgical nurse, I implore anyone wanting plastic surgery or any surgery for that matter...to check your state's medical board website. You can see if your surgeon is board certified and has any disciplinary issues.
I was shocked to hear that Dr. West was sent home after 8 hours under general anesthesia...and a tummy tuck and lipo no less. Add to that she had a breast reduction. Most women stay overnight (minimum) for the abdominoplasty. That's what sent off warning flags in my head. Not a surgery that should be done on an outpatient basis.
Not only is one extremely sore after this surgery (won't get into the description of the actual technique)...there is blood loss and what we call fluid shift. People usually need IV fluids, pain meds...and nausea meds.
Again, research before you take the leap.

42. He was probably afraid he would get sued for revealing confidential information. In addition to what he will be sued for already. It does seem a bit unfair that he can't defend himself on all the charges that have been made. The media really went into a feeding frenzy on this one. I don't know if he is as shady as claimed but he should at least be able to express his side.
