Dr. Adams Cuts and Runs from Larry King

He was supposed to finally discuss the death of his most famous patient, Dr. Donda West, but Dr. Jan Adams bailed on "Larry King Live" instead -- walking off the set live on the air.

Adams did not come out for the first segment of the show -- as he was scheduled. He appeared after the first commercial break, and told Larry King that he would not speak.

Adams then took off his earpiece and walked off the set. Larry quickly threw to commercial.

Later in the show, Alan Tenenbaum, an attorney for Dr. Adams, explained that Adams received a letter from attorneys representing the West family. The letter asked him not to appear on the show.

King left open the possibility that Adams could appear on the show again Wednesday.

62. The man is shaking in his boots.

How dare he disclose ANY information about Mrs. West to the public. There are patient confidentiality laws. Did he really need to tell the world what procedures she had done? It's gossip and irrelevant.

63. Boy ... ol' Oprah's judgement is REAAAAALLY slipping! About every other month now she endorses a pathological liar, a pervert or in this case a butcher. Does she not have sense enough to have background tests performed on someone before basically making this guy out to be "King of all plastic surgeons?" For God's sake he, isn't even BOARD CERTIFIED.
This guy has botched procedure after procedure and shook it off and continued being your typical "playa" wannabe. You are immediately aware of his arrogance when he flaps his gums and he AIN'T got nuthin' to be arrogant ABOUT. He has an untreated alcohol problem and slaps women around regularly, too.
If it were me I'd sue him of course but I'm betting that Oprah's going to be sued in some of these cases as well as she GLEEFULLY put his name out there as being a qualified, legally certified "master" plastic surgeon. Oh well ... at least this BUTCHER is finished now. Betcha' that he picks up his THIRD D.U.I. in the coming month. God rest Mrs. West's soul and protect his living victims.

64. I work in a plastic surgeon's office. If a patient as having a breast reduction or a tummy tuck, they would be required to spend the night in the hospital for observation. If they were having BOTH procedures TOGETHER, there is NO WAY they would be allowed to go straight home.

I don't understands why this doctor discharged her home after such an extensive surgery. Very bad call.

65. Dr. West was made aware of all the risks involved in the surgeries, including death. She signed it.

68. Sue this doctor? It was her own fault for going against doctor's orders and getting this procedure done in the first place, AND for not doing her own research. The Dr's past problem's aside, SHE was also at fault. And don't 4get retards, just because TMZ says so, it doesn't mean it's true. Anyone who is on here and "standing" by whatever TMZ says is a freaking idiot! Besides, none of you would give a damn if she wasn't Kanye's mother... Pathetic!

69. I know of patients who insisted on going home...(usually nurses like myself, go figure)...
One of their nurse friends offered to care for them...and they went home with an IV and fluids...foley catheter in place. Bad idea from my perspective.
Again, with this combo of procedures, the norm is to at least spend one night if not more. I would stay over. I'm sorry but even if my friend, the ICU nurse offered to stay with me I would opt for the hospital. After something like this, you would most definitely need a PCA pump and help to get around.

70. What makes a man decide not to take his moment in the spotlight once he's already gotten over the fact that it's ethically perverted, once he's already hired a media coach, arranged the interview, driven to the studio, and put on makeup?

A call from a rapper? Nah.

Cash.

Think about that.

71.
Yeah he flew all the way... and then came on Larry's show and said he won't talk about it.

His lawyer should have told him not get on the plane and just call Larry and cancel it.
But noooooooooooo

he makes himself look even more worse.

Oprah's judgment is just fine. She knows the people she endorses are liars and scammers, and that's fine with her as long as they make her richer. The rich support the rich, they all get richer...at our expense.

73. There are HIPAA laws regarding patient/doctor confidentiality, and yes...he shouldn't speak about Donda West's surgery.

However, he should be able to talk about most of his other allegations that is currently and have been widely reported about on the media. He should be able to take a stand and be able to voice what he needs, and yes, he should have his lawyer present.

Larry King has offered to have him back tomorrow night to voice his side of the story regarding the OTHER allegations. I hope that he accepts. Simply, not addressing these issues, only makes him look like he is hiding something.

74. Check out Larry's face at the time point of 1:31 into the video. He seemed to forget that he was on camera and he looks ANGRY. I mean, REALLY ANGRY! (his facial expression only lasts a split second, but it is very clear)

You're right! It's almost at the end of the video. Larry clenches his jaw and wrinkles his nose. He looks disgusted and furious, but maybe he's trying to adjust his lower dentures.
