Hogan Family in Denial?

TMZ put up video of Linda Hogan in a 2005 drag race with daughter Brooke in the passenger seat. After the race, Linda boasted, "I love it. The rush, the speed on the road ... racing in between all the cars, dodging the cops. It's awesome."

Just hours before Nick Hogan turned himself in on Nov. 7, ABC Action News in Tampa Bay, Fla., confronted Linda about her reckless words after the race. She's denying she ever said it, although it's clearly her on the tape, she now says, "I never said that ... I would never have said that."

Nick Hogan says he's not driving anymore. "There's no reason for me to drive. I wake up, we eat, and I drive with them to the hospital." The Hogans say that speed wasn't a factor in the John Graziano accident, instead claiming that Nick's badly injured pal, John Graziano, failed to wear a seatbelt.

UPDATE: The State of Florida has finally suspended the license of Nick Hogan, after his horrific car accident that critically injured friend John Graziano. Hogan's license was stripped by state officials just days after he was booked on reckless driving charges. The police report shows that Nick did have alcohol in his blood at the time of the accident.

16. Do you see where the idiot son gets his common sense? This is a women who has boatloads of money, yet chooses to look like a hooker. I wish I had their bleach budget. I could live on that for years.

17. so what linda is saying, the car was destroyed and turned the scrap metal because nick wasnt speeding, his pal really was the one who caused the accident because he wasnt wearing his seatbelt? hey tmz, please keep interviewing the hogans so they can continue to bury themselves with this crap before the trial begins.

18. Young people always do things that could cause harm or humiliation to themselves or others. That is a part of being young. It was an accident. No one forced the young man into the car and had he been wearing a seat belt things would definitely be different.

It is human nature to hide from the truth when the truth hurts. It is also human nature to kick people when they are down.

19. TMZ is placing the blame on the family when it should be on Harvey Levin. What is not being reported is that Harvey Levin was hiding in the back seat nude. When the two young men in the front saw the old wrinkled assed midget of a man Harvey Levin hiding in the backseat, they freaked out - which lead to a crash. Whether it be a coma or even death, all of us - in a normal state of mind - would do the same - just to avoid getting molested by Harvey Levin. TMZ - report the facts !

21. I don't think anyone can say how this one will turn out. It will all boil down to what the prosecutors can prove in court, and what evidence will be admissable in court will be crucial. This most certainly was an accident. I'm sure Nick didn't think, "Let me crash my car into this palm tree and see how badly I can hurt John." It is however, an accident for which Nick is grossly, grossly negligent for causing (if it can be proven he was speeding). One thing is certain, his parents were very irresponsible and wrong for incouraging this behavoir. The tape of Linda racing and the whole family standing around glorifying street racing is absolutely shocking.

23. Well Hogans, as you are celebrating the holiday's this year....I hope you think of the family whose holiday's you have ruined. You are a lying bitch Linda...clean yourself up and start telling the truth. And Hulk, you thought you were such an uber strict parent, instilling good morals...right. Your kids are learning by example, from their low class lying mother.

28. Apparently not all of their time is spent at the hospital...they all still manage to get their hair dyed and nails done. Losers!

This family needs to grow up and take responsibility instead of trying to lied and cover up the truth.

Nick caused this..he was wrong...he will take whatever punishment the court decides is necessary..this is what they should be talking about!!!!

Nick your parents have failed you! They have raised and irresponsible idiot!

29. one thing we seem to forget. That is that we have a voice in what goes on in all these messed up people's lives. That voice is the dollar and what we choose to spend it on. If it were not for you and I where would the Hogans, Spears, Dogs, Lohans, Hiltons, O'Donnells, etc of this world be? Stop buying their products, change the channel, voice your opinion. They break the law, they spend minutes in jail. They act a fool and we have a need to feed from it. They have NOTHING of value to offer. NOTHING!!!!!!!

30. Bartimus aka Hogan family............Sadly, a seatbelt wouldn't have made a difference here. I do believe he had one on and the facts will come out during the trial. It is always the drivers responsibility to make sure everyone one is buckled up before the drive. As far as "kids being kids" my kids don't drive like that and I don't teach and encourage them to do so. This "accident" never needed, or should have, happened.
