Thank you for letting me know that if I don't wear my seatbelt my car will unexplainably speed up & slam into a tree wrecking it beyond all recognition! I did not know this! I wish that my car dealership or some consumer safety group would have let me in on this very important pieve of info!!! DAMN!

79. u people are sounding so hard/cruel/mean/non-compassionate/unforgiving as i have ever heard. please do not get out the stones. i like hogan, and feel he is a honest hardworking man for his family, and he loves his family. i think they are all deeply hurt by this. u never know what in life can or will happen to you are the ones u love. be careful, show some compassion, it could, really,,, it could just happen to u too in some shape form or fashion. i had four close friends that were KILLED in a fast tragic car accident in high school. my friends did not have to get in that car....or ride with that person. it cost them their lives and their family and friends great pain b/c of loosing them, some responsibility has to be on that person too for making a bad choice. NO ONE IS PERFECT. i would ad, to the hogan family, seek out the Lord in ur times of trouble and stay with Him, he will see u though it all and make ur life the better for it. i never heard the Lord mentioned on their show.

If I were that young mans parent I would take the licence away and make him pay for all the damages he has done to the other family, and there would be no more racing until he showed me that he could be responsible and show some respect . There is a place for racing called a race track not on a public road where there are so many people that have no idea what is going on when you race by them. That is the problem with society you get a celebrity out there on the road racing or driving under the influence, its easy for them to just pay for there crime but someone that has no money they get thrown in jail right off. My opinion is the celebrities should get punished and pay for there crimes not just money wise send them to jail and have them go through all the procedures that regular hard working people go throuogh. My opinion is Cebrities don't have a real job like the factory workers or people that work in stores or hospitals, they have no idea how hard it is to work and keep the family going.

82. I cant believe they are saying its the friends fault for not wearing a seatbelt. Its the drivers responcibility to make sure passengers are seat belted or you dont drive!!!!!!! How can this family allow them to visit when the hogans are blaming this boy for his own problems,instead of taking responsibility of their own. 83. HE WAS NOT SPEEDING, THE CAR THEY WERE DRIVING IN WAS DESTROYED. THEY WERE GOING ALOT FASTER THEN 60 , TRY ABOUT 80 OR 90. THE CAR WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN IN THE STATE IT WAS , HAD HE NOT BEEN DRIVING AT EXCESSIVE SPEEDS. THE POLICE DEPARTMETN STATED 60, WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO HIDE? 84. This is a tragedy for everyone involved, but this family really needs
to accept some responsibility here. I'm sure they are scared about what
is going to happen to Nick, but they need to quit making everything
about them. Good for them that they are going to the hospital
everyday, it could be your son laying in that bed. Poor John is never going to have any quality of life. It bothers me when I hear them say he is improving everyday, I feel like
they are trying to mislead everyone. From what the family has said,
this young man is still on life support and will require advanced
care for the rest of his life. I used to work with patients with
closed head injuries, it is so sad watching these families hopes
slowly fade. The families come in everyday in the beginning with the hope that there loved one will be that 1 in a million that will wake up
one day and talk to them. Eventually when they realize that it is not
going to happen, they start to question whether or not they did the
right thing by keeping them alive. Everyone should say a prayer for John and his family. The Hogans need to get over themselves!

85. For those of you out there who don't know this, NICK'S DRIVER'S LICENSE WAS SUSPENDED FOR A YEAR yesterday by Florida authorities for drinking and driving. I'm sure he stopped driving in advance on the advice of his attorneys. I love the way they try and do damage control in advance by telling the public he's no longer driving. Yeah, right.

86. I hope now John G mother see and hears how the HOGAN FAMILY blames her brain dead son for the SO CALLED ACCIDENT. Wake up lady!!! They only paid your condo to keep your from SUING THEM. 88. Even if Nick wasn't excessively speeding - I read one place it was only about 20 miles per hour over the limit. There roads were wet from rain. Speeding of any kind on a wet road is reckless. And it was Nick's car. He was responsible for any and all passengers. He should have made sure his friend was wearing a seatbelt.

Anyway they try to cut it, it was Nick's fault.
