R. Kelly Boots Ne-Yo from Tour

More drama unfolds with R. Kelly as R&B singer Ne-Yo was suddenly removed from Kelly's latest tour. Kelly's camp cited the lack of a signed contract as the reason for Ne-Yo getting dumped.

Ne-Yo's camp issued a press release about the incident earlier this week, saying Ne-Yo "expressed genuine concern regarding not having the opportunity to complete the tour."

Kelly has been known to have tour trouble. In 2004, he and Jay-Z's conjoined tour came to a halt after Kelly was blasted with pepper spray by a member of Jay-Z's entourage. Jay later said that R. Kelly was a weepy, emotional wreck, prone to crying fits during the duration of their tour. Just recently, Kelly's longtime publicist resigned, citing serious "lines being crossed" as the cause of the split. Somebody is a straight-up diva -- and it ain't Ne-Yo!

33. ignorance irks my nerves so much. to "this", ne-yo is not a rapper, he is a very talented singer-song writer. he wrote beyonce's mega hit "irreplaceable". she's also black but maybe you've heard of her? not too bad for a clown. and ne-yo is just a different way of spelling "neo" . short for neo-soul, a movement in r &b to bring back actual singers with intelligent lyrics, and to move away from the pop-dance-no meaning-whatsoever music that is so popular today. i realize a lot of racists want to label every black male they come across as , but in ne-yo's case, your comments are totally offbase.

34. i just went to the show in atlanta last week. neyo had a better set than r. kelly if you ask me, but i may just be biased because i like neyo's music more

36. I am a die hard R. Kelly fan and have been one since his days in the group Public Announcement. My first concert ever was R. Kelly and Yes, I was 13. To date, I have attended every concert R. Kelly has had in the NY area and even supported him during the child pornography suit. Say it ain't so Kells, Say it Ain't so. I like NeYo a lot and think he is very talented and is definitely a contender in carrying the R. Kellyesque torch with regards to his lyrics and music. After listening to the Ed Lover show (power 105.1 FM in NY) this morning, I have a new found respect for NeYo. I am saddened that he is not going to be on the tour. Listening to Kells diva-like attitude explained by NeYo left me a little disgusted. Does one man really need 7 dressing rooms? Kells is the man but I mean come on "Mr. Kelly is coming down the hall so you have to move." If I keep this comment hood, I will say ... Kells, get it together, man. You are a legend but there is enough food for everyone to eat. Give props where they are due. This is definitely your tour loss. Neyo, keep your head up.

39. Why is it that people even give R.Kelly the time of day-let alone talk about him.
Quite frankly, anyone that actually pays to go see R.Kelly on tour is an idiot.
Drop that loser and don't buy his records-than maybe he will go away when there is no attention focused on him. He's a sad excuse of a human being and a lowlife.
And don't get me started on the girl in the video-obviously she'll do anything for money
and lie about at the same time-nothing can justify that.
