When Mimi unveiled her fragrance in New York City, there was a marching band and full parade. Last night in suburban Glendale, Calif. ... not so much. *crickets*


For the Los Angeles launch, Carey opted for the Glendale Galleria instead of choosing a more upscale venue, like something on Rodeo Drive -- or at least L.A. proper. Mimi takes it to her peeps!

Marching band be damned -- her fans still went wild! Glendale is best known as the birthplace of TMZ.com.

63. I did check out Mariah's perfume at Macy's...it IS really nice. It is worth checking out for yourself!! I also am looking forward to her new cd coming out soon :)

66. In all honesty this is a great perfume, it is already one of my top 3 ever. People need to stop all this hate-geeze it is the holidays...truth is Mariah's M is a huge hit because the product is very good!!
