34. I guess I'll never understand why it's so hard for some people to appreciate someone who's heart is in the right place. There are clearly some women here who have issues with alicia Keys' talent and beauty.

I understand that you can't like everyone but I have to wonder what Alicia Keys has done so wrong for you people to actually hate her. I don't blame you all though, I blame your parents. If they'd done a better job raising you, you all wouldn't be on a internet message board writing about how much you hate someone you've never met.

I like Alicia keys and her music and I appreciate the fact that she actually sings and that she's one of the few female artsists who doesn't strip down to her underwear to sell a record.

You are so right! I often ask people how can you hate someone that you've never even met a day in your life? How can you be racist toward people you don't even know? That's like me walking down the street saying I hate everyone wearing Red! I think people who hate indivduals that they don't know, really have serious issues. People even resorting to calling her a whore, as if they know everyone that this woman has been with. I just laugh at them, it hilarious to me!

39. Problem with Alicia is she is one of the most jealous females out there. Seems to be a common trait with John Mayer's fembots.

I have seen her looks at pictures of Heidi Klum and say she's so beautiful. I want to look like that. Instead of embracing her own beauty she wants to hurt anyone who looks "fair". She has serious psycho issues. Single White Female.

If I were her I'd thank God I was given what she was given and be happy I was so blessed. Not her, she lies, manipulates and plays the victim to move up in the world. Ironic her supporters on here are DragonLady, Victoria, DJ and HL. SHE IS ALL OF THOSE. She chose the dark side and that has nothing to do with her skin color.

I'd NOT be fooled by this "woman". She is evil. It's all about me...is her motto. For her sake I wish she never met John Mayer.

42. wow ive never run across a more imbittered group of ppl (not all of you)...or so much hatred towards an individual you obviously know nothing about...if you did, well then this reply wouldnt even be necessary. try to spend more energy on the positive, and dont waste it on negativity. everyone's entitled to like whatever type of music that moves them, and thats fine but dont generalize and judge someone's character just because you THINK you have an idea of how that person may be.....

44. Just want to supply some clarity about Alicia appearance at the WGA rally for all you haters. Short and sweet:

1. If it was all about publicity to promote her album, she would have went to tape the tv show she was originally scheduled to go to that day. Instead, she decided to support the strikers. Let's not forget, she is a writer (of music) and an actress, so she understands the strikers' cause.

2. This performance was scheduled at the last minute and keys had to depart before the march started to catch a flight. So, whether you like Alicia or not, gotta give her credit for taking the time out of her schedule to support the cause.

She discriminates against fair people, he discriminates towards dark people. Cut the strings of both of them. It's a really gutless thing to do to judge someone on their skin color...or wether they went to college david jones. You dropped out because you were lazy and would rather go out than study.
