123. HOPE I CAN EXPLAIN THIS TO WHERE OTHERS CANUNDERSTAND. AT THE TIME THE PHOTO WAS TAKEN SHE WAS THE OLDER LADY THAT WAS 30 PROB THEN. THEY WORKED THEIR MAGIC AS THEY DO AND THIS IS WHAT THEY THOUGHT SHE WOULD LOOK LIKE WHEN SHE WAS YOUNGER. THEY MAY OF HAD A PHOTO TOGO BY OR THEY DID THE SKETCHES WITH THE FACIAL FEATURES EYES'JAWLINE,LIPS AND ALL. THIS IS HOW SHW WOULD OF LOOKED WHEN SHE WAS PROB 13-15 .I THINK THEY DID A GREAT JOB WITH THE PHOTO BECAUSE IT DOES LOOK JUST LIKE HER. IT SURE GOT THE WORLDS ATTENTION.

131. After reading many of your posts… and posting one of my own, I kept thinking about Sharbat Gula. I was mesmerized by her eyes in 1985 and have never forgotten her face. Only knowing now… I want to know her full story, as sad as that may be.
Anyway… as I was reading so many comments on the concept of true beauty, I have to say more.
To all of you who view beauty without makeup true beauty, you are wrong… well, in the way that I believe what a truly beautiful person really is….
And, to all of you who view beauty with makeup fake and unreal, you are also wrong… again, in the way that I believe.
And to all of you who have decided one or the other is a ‘true beauty’… tell me please, how is that possible? To really know the true beauty of another, you would have to know them personally, yes?
True beauty and the quintessence of life lies deep within, and until you really know someone… you will never know the depth or reality of their beauty.

And your point is...??? Surely, you could have found another way to get your point across of Ms. Christensen having a bad day, and without using an old photo of a beautiful Afghan girl, (older woman now) who due to hardship and warfare has aged prematurely beyond her years. Unbelievably callous on your part! In all fairness, do you at least, have the audacity to send a hard copy of your tasered humor to the Afghan woman? Probably not.

135. Who wears these god adwful clothes, give me a nice pair of jeans and a cool T-shirt and I am ready to go. I don't need some super model or movie star to impress me to dress. Most of them look like crap anyway.
