"Dancing" with Yamaguchi?

Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi might be the next star to Fox Trot onto the "Dancing with the Stars" stage. Kristi revealed to Chris Yandek of CYInterview.com that she is a huge fan and would love to do the show. There's just a small problem ...
Kristi Yamaguchi
What could possibly stand in her way?

Kristi says that her fear of being judged and live audiences "make her really nervous." Huh?! You'd think that someone who made a career performing live and being judged would have an edge up, but apparently for Kristi -- that's not the case.

While the ice princess claims butterflies -- her nerves sure paid off on the ice!

32. I hope this woman goes on this show. Skaters have to have some basic ballet training. i watch it sometimes, and im sure she would do a lot better than marie Osmond, who wins half the time becasue of a big fan base and her personality, I like Osamonds personality too, but that is not is not what the judging criteria is on this show. it is about ho is the BEST DANCER, So if someone good at daning goes on this show, wonderful, Im sick of seeing undeserving people stay on this show becasue their fans call in to vote for them, having litle to do with their dance abilty.

34. Hey #30 Billy. Crawl out from under your rock!!!!! Do you really think Dancing with the stars is "slutty"?? You poor thing. I feel sorry for you. But mostly for your girlfriend or wife if you are lucky enough to have one. If you do, she probably has to wear turdlenecks huh?? Sad.

35. Nah being young talent and clever would get her hated so much by the same people who think that Marie Osmond should be crowned the Queen of dancing on that show. Too many idiots with a phone and the internet. They also feel that every body who ever danced to a beat is a Professional dancer... zomg !!!!

36. I don't watch the show but I might tune it in to watch this hottie dance.

I'd be trying to stuff dollar bills into the speaker slot on my tv.

37. A figure skater would be a great addition, however, Kristi has been out of the public eye for quite some time and her fan base may not be sufficient. A better choice would be Michelle Kwan, as she is probably due for a career change, or Kurt Browning, who is personable and charming.

38. How can she be allowed on that show since she has dance experience and possible ballet experience from being a figure skater all her life? I thought there were rules. I love her but it wouldn't be right.

40. Are we ever going to get rid of Marie Osmond? Let's face it.. she has at least 100 relatives and they have friends and relatives so I guess it's never going to happen that Marie will be voted off!! Too bad we have to lose so many GOOD dancers to keep in a female that has Donny for a brother who is badmouthing everyone else and tells people to keep voting for Marie. I used to love this show but I think it has gotten too political and am afraid the results are fixed. Anyone else feel this way?

41. Why did Marie mention her age on every show? Did she feel inferior to everyone else? Age should not have anything to do with how well a person can perform. None of the other constants felt they had to mention their ages.
