"Bachelor" Byron Gets His Ass Kicked

Byron Velvick, star of "The Bachelor" season six, was attacked by the woman he picked to marry on the show.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department, Mary Delgado punched Byron, causing his upper lip to bleed. She was arrested in Tampa, Florida for alleged domestic battery.

The incident occurred Wednesday just after midnight. Cops say alcohol was a factor.

Ironically, the couple appeared this past Tuesday on "The Bachelor," following the rose ceremony and made it clear they were heading for the altar. Seems their plans may have just gotten altered.

16. I agree with #12. What guy calls the police on his girlfriend for slugging him??? I've hit a couple of em and they just laugh it off when it's all over. Then you have great make-up sex.

20. I hate violence, but considering how THIS season ended up, nothing surprises me about this stupid show, except how cute Trish and Ryan's baby is...I just wanted them to hand him through my TV to me, so he could be protected from all of this insanity.

30. Yes indeed, anyone who goes on a reality show to get a man is desperate. I have no respect for any of those women at all. Serves him right too for being an arse for getting in that situation in the first place. They both deserve each other.
