Brit's "Blackout" Wipes Out

31. Anyone who can't see that both Brit's musical and personal life are going from rolling blackouts to permanent blackouts is deluding themselves! Well, I guess her ravenous fans who seem to be blind to the truth and live in La La Land might argue against this, but facts and numbers speak for themselves. The train of cuteness and vitality that she rode in on have also derailed. People are just tired of both her antics and her music. Her voice is much more heavily dubbed and worked over than ever and almost sounds like she could have literally phoned it in. Her stages shows and presence were a large part of her draw too, but who wants to see a wacked out, bloated has been stumble her way thru another set for any other reason than morbid curiosity. Now she is reduced to that small percentage of her once great fanbase to prop up her stumbling career. Sure, she could take a magical maturity pill, click her heels, and grow up and change things for the better, but that just doesn't seem to be the case now and anytime within the near future. I don't hate her, but I just grow tired of the inescapable failings of such a self promoting person that is shoved down the throats of the public, whether we like it or not. She is an adult now and is due for the harsh dose of reality that she has ordered up of her own volition. I just hope her children don't take the brunt of this self made misfortune.

33. Also, blame GW Bush and the economy for music and even movie industry collapse. Ever consider with high gas prices, people want to put money towards food, home and also for unhealthy things like cancer sticks, booze. Smoking rates are plummeting. Movie attendance has plummeted as well. Only prequels, sequels and remaks are keeping Hollywood afloat.

34. I do love Boy George! I hope he starts singing again. Brit is only 26 years old. Time to
grow up. Enough of this nonsense. I watched the AMA and it was great! Everyone gave
a very good performance. Overall it was one of the best music shows I have seen this
year!! Lot talent on that show. They had live music! I wish Brit the best. She can do it
but it's going to take work. Hard work. Bashing Kevin is not going to help. In fact, I think
she still loves the man. I have not heard her say one bad thing about him. Even with
all the court battles going on. She has said nothing.

36. The low sales of Brit's album aren't necessarily due to a lack of demand for the music... but moreso the incredibly easy ability to download it for FREE now, as I'm sure millions have already done. People are not 'scared' to do this by any stretch of the imagination.

You cannot accurately predict how many people have posession of albums anymore.

42. TMZ is exaggerating a bit. The album will probably inch toward platinum, but that's about it. Sure, it's a flop compared to previous efforts, but in its own rite, it's been critically acclaimed and platinum won't be half-bad. Brit deserves the low sales. This is what happens when Brit tries to manage her own career. She has no web-site up promoting the album. She has done absolutely no promotional appearances. She is getting what she deserves! I hope Virgin drops her. I'm a big fan but I have been totally disgusted with how she is managing her affairs. Federline has ruined her for good, but even that was of her choosing! Nobody required that she pick that loser!

45. to # 42..............She brought this all on herself. She needs to get her priorities straight. First and foremost in her mind should be her kids. And if she wants to further her career she needs to put some real effort into it and stop all the juvenile behavior.
