Flea's Home NOT a Burnt Pepper

FleaFlea, the bassist for the the Red Hot Chili Peppers, did not lose his home today in the Malibu fires.

KNX Newsradio confirmed that earlier reports that Flea's house burned down are untrue, according to his manager.

According to KTTV, rocker Axl Rose lives in the area as well -- his home was damaged, but saved.

18. I stayed in Mal;ibu in 2003 and 2004. The first year no fire problems. The next year we had to evacuate the Malibu rv park because of the fires. That year conviced me that the rv was the smartest investment ever if u want to live i "California. You can just crank up and get the hell out when necessary.

20. ~ Bible: Matthew 5-7 (New International Version)

The Wise and Foolish Builders
24"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."

26. Once again, the LA Times has it wrong. The house Flea lost is NOT the house he recently bought, but the house he previously lived in and hasn't yet sold.

27. To #13...it's not trees catching on fire...it's brush. That's why they are called brush fires. We're in the middle of a drought, so when you mix dry brush and high winds fire happens. But the majority of these fires are usually an act of arson, not natural disasters.

Natural disasters happen everywhere, there is no such thing as a "safe" area. I guess the entire state of Florida should move? Or the areas where tornadoes occur year after year? No one is safe from Mother Nature.

28. For some reason my comment seems to have disappeared.

You're printing incorrect information. The LA Times often has it wrong. The home that burned is the home Flea has been trying to sell. He is living in another home (the one you mentioned) that did not burn. Point is, Flea - nor any of his family or posessions - were NOT in the home.
