Unlike the last time he was supposed to host an event, hip-hop's eyelid-tatted, blinged-out rainmaker, Lil Wayne, actually showed up to perform hosting duties at Pure Nightclub in Atlanta this week. Lil shocked?

As seen in the intoxicating photos taken by our good friends at ATLpics.net, Wayne spent most of the night struggling to keep his eyes open. It's not clear whether it was the glare from his jewelry or the content of his cup that caused the continuous squinting. Does it really matter? Enjoy.

62. Amen, By The South ... I ESCAPED about 12 years ago. It used to be a GREAT place to live. It's over-run now. Can you imagine a group that actually places this guy (or any of the other hip-hop trash) on a pedestal? UNBELIEVABLE! It would be like me idolizing Joe Francis, Vanilla Ice, K-Fed or the like. Is that a tat of a teardrop under each eye? Do you people know what that means? That is a gang symbol for killing someone, their badge of honor. So if he has one (1) , he's killed one (1) person. If he has two (2), he's killed 2 people.

Can't really tell in the pic but if so I can't believe someone like this could really get any press. He should be in prison.

72. Not that I totally agree with his incessant amounts of alcohol consumption or his excessive weed smokin', but Lil' Wayne really is an excellent rapper. Much talent there. If you are a true fan of rap/hip-hop...you would know this. And I'm not just speakin' on his "hits" or radio plays. Most of his non-radio played music is much better than the ok-for-radio stuff. Weezy is full of metaphors and similes related to the rap game as well as past episodes in his life. This to me shows his creative side, especially when he can continue to come up with these over and over again. To Wayne, ignore these haters...we know what kind of rapper you are, one of the best in this game...all the way back since the original CMB!

Besides, lol, his tatts are HOT!
