Mrs. Hogan: I Don't Want a Divorce!

Even though it was Linda Bollea who dropped divorce papers on hubby Hulk Hogan last week, the 48 year-old celebuspouse is still hoping to save her marriage. Wait ... come again?!

"She keeps saying to him 'Can't we find a way to make this work?," a source close to the couple tells TMZ. "She doesn't want to see the family break up. She really wants to work it out with him. But it is like pushing up against a brick wall. She is heartbroken about it."

And the Hulkster's not so tickled about reports that he learned of the split from a Florida newspaper reporter.

"He actually heard it from his lawyer," we're told. "There was no surprise. It had been coming for a while. They have grown to be two different people. When hardships hit them, it really brings them down. And when they were finally hit with a real problem -- (son Nick, 17, is facing felony charges of reckless driving from an August car wreck) -- they just couldn't make it work."

Okay, now it makes sense.

34. Oh please, this story is soo staged, they're probably doing this to limit the liability in their sons legal case. You know their son doesn't have deep pockets and the family of the friend injured in the crash is going to sue all of them. Hulk is distancing himself and his earnings from the family to limit his exposure to liability. All their lies come to light eventually as shown in previous reports.....

36. When is Nick's day in court? Anybody know. All I know is I would have told my lawyer to "go ___ himself" if he suggested I file for divorce at a time like this. There has to be another plan. This is ridiculous. Also, I believe it to be true, shes been in calif. living without him. She shouldn't even be able to use the "title" mother, it doesn't apply. She acts like like an idiotic 19 yr old. "I love racing, dodging cops" Are u kidding me. Moms dont say that.

Gotta hand it to Hulkster- he finally found some smart lawyers. No more dumbazz MySpace blurbs from Little Nicky, or street interviews with Brooke.

All of this divorce fluff is a clever cover to manage the inevitable monetary damages of the civil trial; The more we personalize the Hogan family, the less likely we'll slap them with a $50M punitive damage judgement.

Meanwhile, Little Nicky goes clothes shopping with mommy while a Marine lies in a VA hospital with no more brain activity than a radish;

Why are you paying for your future ex-wife's shopping sprees and not John's care in a private facility, Hulk?

44. The Hulk has been a wallet to his entire spoiled rotten family throughout their entire marriage. I would say that it has to be difficult to be with three people that want to completely drain your $$$$ any chance they get. He has been and always will be the sole provider for her and those 2 wastes of good air kids of his. I am sure he is fed up with it. He can only do so much for that no talent girl and that boy should be in jail. They are just trash with a lot of money!

45. I thought the show where Hulk's brainless wife and two airhead kids tried to change him was ridiculous. He is who he is, love him or leave him. They wanted him to get hair implants and stuff. They have all his money now they want to make him into a Ken Doll. There is only one Hulk.
