Hogan was driving on August 26 when he lost control and hit a palm tree. His friend, 22-year-old John Graziano, was not wearing a seat belt and was seriously injured in the accident. He suffered permanent brain damage and is now in a vegetative state.

107. Nick was drinking & driving and decided to be a big-shot show-off and street race illegally! Where I'm from if John dies that's called vehicular manslaughter! We all know at 17 we don't always make the smart choices and we often think we're invinsible, that's why our parents are supposed to guide us! For example when I was 17 if I so much as got a speeding ticket my parents would've taken away my car!!! And I knew that was the punishment so I made damn sure to be a safe driver (ie. no drinking & driving, no racing... you know common sense things)! All I can say is stupid parents equals stupid kids... and Nick should take responsibility for his actions don't try and blame the victim, it just makes him look worse! Nick should receive the same punishment as you or I would had it been us! And another thing (excuse my rant) why don't these stupid celebs get drivers when they're drinking or all the time for that matter!!!! Keep the racing to the track.

108. Ya know, all this going back and forth arguing about Nick's fault in this is crazy. If you get a driver's license, which is an adult responsibility, you are expected to behave like an adult, right? Why should Nick get a pass just because he is 17 and his daddy is a rich famous guy, I don't get it. If you are the driver, you are responsible for what happens when you are behind the wheel END OF STORY. Nothing else matters, no excuses for Nick!

109. Uh, never once did i say that the accident was Johns fault. I just think it is total b.s. that noone seems to understand that John was in that car knowing that they might possibly race and was all for it. Had he not ever been riding w/ Nick before this incident?? I think not. You guys are acting like he kidnapped the dude and forced him to ride along while he raced.
