New Driver Can't Handle Britney's Heat -- Drives Off

Britney Spears finally wised up and hired a driver to help, er, curb some of her recent mishaps behind the wheel. Good move! Except that just days later, he is already "on his way out."
Britney Spears
TMZ has learned that the chauffeur/driver Spears hired to drive her, the kids and a court-ordered monitor around town is quitting -- because driving for Brit Brit is a "liability." Obviously! A source close to Spears tells TMZ, that the driver and a monitor both had very close calls with paparazzi and other vehicles while driving Miss Britney.

A close call is an improvement over running over photog's foot.

167. Why are the "Court Judges" allowing the Papparazzi to get so close to Brit's car, if they are concerned about the welfare of those two boys?
It's not like the photographers don't have telephoto lens and could be standing many feet away from Brit's car and still zoom into the car and see whatever they are looking for?
I would run over them too, if they were crowding me like that. Hell, anyone no matter how much attention they love, (like Brit) would get tired of not being able to drive safely anywheres. I don't blame the new driver for quitting. His life as well as Brit and her boys is at jeopardy any time that car rolls. Someone with authority should put a stop to it, before we have another Princess Di Scenario on our hands except this time two babies could be killed as well.
.....and Federline is no better than Brit. At least Brit worked for her money. He's only been a blood sucking leach....and I just bet you if Brit was broke, he'd have little to no interest in those boys. He's only going to court so much because he's got Brit paying the bills.
Attention Getter......both of them. Shift the attention elsewhere and I bet you see a different couple of people.
Safety 1st......stop the Papparazzi.....that's the first way to save those boys.....IF that is TRULY everyone's concerns.

168. I do believe coverage of such nonsense regarding her is so mundane. years ago there was no media coverage for non-talented people such as she is. In her favor is her music not her personal life. aren't media people embarassed to be covering such mundane coverage and not the war in Iraq, or other worldly subjects. they themselves seem mundane and stupid. how very sad we have become with coverage of this type. what is in the drinking water out in california anyway???

169. I can't believe this harrassment by the photogs can't fall under the stalking laws somehow. I'm by no means a Brit fan, but there comes a time where these guys (or girls) are breaking the law, be it jaywalking, stalking or just violating her space (assult).
It seems the driver could have been bonded or something on that order where he could avoid the liability problem. Next he will be sueing the photogs and their news agencies for having prevented him from doing his job. Sounds good.

170. Hey Anna or #15, does it mean anything to you that everyone has to make a living? The guys who take her pictures are only doing a job so they can eat and they don't make what Britney spends in a month.

171. Hey ViVi
So if I'm breaking in your house (my job), then you shouldn't interupt me because I'm just doing my job.
Might as well talk stupid if that is how you make excusses like that.

172. I think they should tie her "ex" to the bumper of her car - the smell would make everyone move away....FASSSSTTTT!!!!

173. This woman needs to stay home. Get a coffee machine, send someone out to Costco for treats and STAY HOME.....manicurists make housecalls and you can buy a tanning bed and put it in its own room....stay home....and when you have to go out call a driving service or a cab!

174. Obviously, as long as Britney is in a car, paparazzi get too close to it. This would make any driver nervous. Britney didn't have nearly as many driving mishaps before Kevin came into her life, and she's had the most since her divorce. There needs to be new laws created to keep paparazzi at a safe distance from celebrities, especially when they're in a vehicle, moving or not. This is too ridiculous. I find it disgusting that the media is so quick to pass judgment on Britney when it's so obvious the paparazzi has been responsible for most, if not all, of these accidents.
