New Driver Can't Handle Britney's Heat -- Drives Off

Britney Spears finally wised up and hired a driver to help, er, curb some of her recent mishaps behind the wheel. Good move! Except that just days later, he is already "on his way out."

TMZ has learned that the chauffeur/driver Spears hired to drive her, the kids and a court-ordered monitor around town is quitting -- because driving for Brit Brit is a "liability." Obviously! A source close to Spears tells TMZ, that the driver and a monitor both had very close calls with paparazzi and other vehicles while driving Miss Britney.

A close call is an improvement over running over photog's foot.

Maybe it's not Britney's fault after all. Maybe it really is the fault of people illegally harassing her and distracting her when she is trying to drive.

37. it's really scary and sad...as much as britney is a trainwreck, she is a person, and someone who entertained america and the world at the height of her career. the only way her saga can possibly end unfortunately will be in tradgedy...she'll kill herself, someone else, somebody will be killed in a car accident where she or the paps or involved, etc etc...it's just really really sad. the girl desperately needs help, but unfortunately she either doesn't know who to turn to or she's really still in denial. sad sad sad...

That Headline should read..THE PAPZ MAKE IS SO DIFFICULT FOR ANY HUMAN TO DRIVE WHEN THERE ARE AROUND....Britney is in the back seat...So now TMZ and all the rest of the Britney HATERS are going to rationalize the fact that the PAPZ n reporters are making it dangerous for anyone. Now that is amazing they just figured it out that it would be a liability, lol....that is why she hired you.......................................ok judge now that we have it figured out that it is dangerous to drive being Britney Spears, can you pull your head out and make a ruling based on that and not her Ability to drive........in these conditions because the best of us that have been driving for many years, would have the same problems in this case.
