Last Dance for Helio and Fiancee!

Helio may have waltzed into winning "Dancing With the Stars" by doing a Paso Doble ... but the Paso Uno is what he's doing now!

TMZ has confirmed business executive Aliette Vazquez has broken off her engagement to the "Dancing" winner. Vazquez and the race car driver had been dating for more than six years and have been engaged for a year. "There have been a lot of rumors and a lot of misinformation out there," Vazquez's rep Howard Bragman tells us, and she "wanted to set the record straight."

Bragman told us, "This is a personal decision and I ask the media to respect the privacy of Miss Vazquez and her family. She has no plans to talk to the media, but reserves that right if she needs to clarify misinformation or defend her reputation."

Let's get ready to Rumba!

UPDATE: More good stuff! We've learned that the two have not spoken in weeks. And so you know -- this has nothing to do with partner Julianne Hough. It's just between Helio and Aliette.

81. I'm so happy that the engagement have broken off, I can't believe that HELIO CASTRONEVES, was even going out with such an ugly dog like her. After seeing HELIO CASTRONEVES girlfriend sitting in the front row while HELIO CASTRONEVES was dancing with partner JULIANNE HOUGH, I think most viewers were asking What The Hell
is HELIO CASTRONEVES doing with that piece of crap. He's a race car driver has money
he could do better that that.

88. In response to #8, Yes, ladies, you DO have a choice! I dated a man for 5 years with no proposal and now we've been married for 16 years. You can't put a time limit on someone. A good partner is worth waiting for and worth staying with, proposal or not. And, to #13 & 15, both women are BEAUTIFUL, your jealousy is showing.

90. Whatever the reasons for Helio's and his ex-fiancee's split is their business. Whatever happened to sacred privacy?!
As for Helio's dancing, he did deserve to win, as he had no previous dance experience, and consistently gave more improved and exciting professional performances each week. Mel B. danced well, but had prior dance experience. Prior experience shouldn't be allowed with the contestants, to make it fair game for all. She was also praised to the hilt by the judges, and maybe she assumed she would be the winner. Her comments after the finale were uncalled for. No, Mel, "you were not robbed", but you sure turned out to be a sore loser with no class. Not gracious at all.
It doesn't matter who is with who. Most important is the fact that they all entertained us for 10 weeks of great dancing. Their private lives belong to them, not us.
