wow, i am a black man in America and i understand what some of you are saying about the fact that the bullet hit an artery. what puzzles me is that you guys are missing a valid point here, no one is "playing the race card", i think that the rampage dude did not get the fact that the bullet hit Mr. Taylor's artery. also, it is a known fact that "some" police and other human services take their time getting to certain urban areas. i grew up in what they call the projects and i have seen first-hand how that works. i now am a therapist and i work with at-risk youth in my local area. racism is reality, i dont talk about it very much because it starts to get redundant. just try to understand where folks are coming from and we will all be fine. and oh yea, what exactly is "ape head"??? i saw someone post that earlier...unreal.

ACTUALLY - 911 operators will probably react quicker if the caller IS black. Black people sue WAY faster than white folks.
