I don't think it was ever really about money for the Goldman's, rather finding justice on some level - that being civil, which was the only alternate vindication they could pursue for their son.

OJ is a murderer and he got off because of the race card. He belongs in jail and I guess this is our (those who are intelligent enough to realize he brutally and barbarically slaughtered 2 people) way of putting him where he belongs. What comes around goes around, I guess.

20. America has still to realise the effect that it's systemic hate crimes against people of African descent has had on it's psyche.

Hundreds of years of brutality, what today many call terrorism, has left millions of people in this country and worlwide, with a genuine mistrust of the American Judicial System when it comes to non-whites; especially African Americans.

You can be presented with a seemingly guilty person based on evidence gathered, but, due to a history of violence (lynchings, rapes, burning houses, etc.) and lies(that black man whistled at me-Emmett Till case, or, a black man carjacked me and took my car and kids-Susan Smith case),many will support someone who seems guilty because they refuse to trust a system that once terrorized them and still does; mentally.

Michael Vick killed dogs, lied about it and his life is destroyed-massa done took everything he gave that boy, cause it all belongs to massa. Phil Spector shot a woman in the face and got off, where is the continued outrage as we still see from the Ron and Nicole killings.

Americas' continued lying and deceit will continue to make it a mockery around the world.
I'm anxiously awaiting the next black man to go on trial after O.J.'s, because, it's become a regular summer spectacular in this country of ours-just like the summer trials you see on the daytime soap operas, only these real trials show America to be a country that views the destruction of African American lives as a sport.

Did he kidnapped someone? 0% no! If you want to put him back on trial for murder of his wife. Fine ! just say that's what we are doing. 29. I FEEL O.J. IS BEING TRIED FOR THE MURDER HE WAS ACQUITTED ON REGARDING NICOLE AND RON GOLDMAN. I DON'T FEEL ANYONE WAS KIDNAPPED AND HE WAS JUST TRYING TO GET BACK THINGS THAT BELONGED TO HIM.
