Ex-Fiancee to Helio: Lights, Camera, Split!

Ooh, snap! The split between "Dancing With the Stars" champ Helio Castroramalamadingdong and ex-fiancee Aliette Vazquez is getting good!

Sources connected to the couple tell TMZ that the reason the duo split was simple -- Helio "went Hollywood!" We're told his newfound "fame" was too much for his longtime gal, who just couldn't deal. As his popularity grew, so did his ego! That's when Aliette alley-ooped and hit the road.

We're told she is much happier and "over him." Our spies saw her selling her jewelry line yesterday at the swank Biltmore Hotel in Miami.

We've heard she's waltzing on with her life.

20. This was exactly what I thought. All of this attention and fame got to his head. Including spending everyday with a younger cute girl who taught him how to dance. He probably put his fiance aside and was probably acting like a jerk to her, and not inviting her to events.

Sad thing is...once all of this attention dies down and everyday life comes back, and Julianne has moved on...he will start to miss his fiancee...

24. Actually, I'm gonna put a new twist on this story -- sounds like the "ex"-fiance is a jealous bitch. Boo Hoo Hoo... Helio, you are sooooooooooo much better off without someone that would have DICTATED your whole life. Look at it this way -- now you won't have to pay alimony!

25. what a shame, they looked like a nice couple... 6 years is a long time to be with someone. For your fiance to go MIA because he's on some dance show is heartbreaking... if he REALLY cares for her he'll fight to get her back... if he doesn't maybe he was never worth it. 27. Helio does not need to "go Hollywood" ! He has an extensive bio without DWTS. He is an Indy race driver with 2 Indianapolis 500 victories (2001 & 2002). I think she is just jealous~~ as she should be!

28. I think its so sad that someone who once loved him, could just automatically fall out of love just because he got his 15 minutes of fame in Hollywood. Really bad reason to end the relationship, I believe!!! To love someone means to love them through anything, obvously she didn't love him in the true form.
