Um. like, because, Annie -- there are REAL forms of dance and then there are little contests where the contestants get to look pretty and wear high heels and trot around the stage like two-bit show ponies. If she were a serious dancer she'd do modern or ballet, in a reputable company, and not wear sequins, a dolly parton wig, and five inch heels.

23. Anyone who has won the Indy 500 twice has earned way more than 15 minutes to spend at the pop culture arcade. I would agree that the whole dancing-with-the-stars scene is a bit cheesy, but so what, it seems to all be in good fun and the ladies like it and the guys who watch it with their ladies likely appreciate its romantic vibe , too. And if Helio and Julianne are a couple, well, good for them, single and free to mingle.

26. 12. She is SUCH a skanky camera hog. I mean, who decides to become a professional ballroom dancer (not ballet, or even serious modern dance) anyway? Isn't that like basically working at a carnival?

She does everything possible to make sure the camera is on her at all times; no doubt she'll dump his lame azz when she gets bored (give it about fifteen minutes or so)

28. If this is the way his "ex" fiance handles the spotlight on Helio, well, he's lucky she dumped him. She should be happy for him and handle things maturely, not like some jealous, self-centered hot-head. He's going to be much more marketable after getting his name out beyond the racing world. Hope he finds someone much more willing to let him enjoy the fruits of his hard work.

30. Julianne moved to Europe with her coaches to train as a ballroom dancer when she was very young. I believe her brother later joined her. They are both gifted dancers and choreographers.
