Gary Dourdan (left) stars in the hit CBS show "CSI." Demitris Hirsch (right) was arrested yesterday in Lafayette, La. on charges of aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon. 
Hirsch is still in custody and his bail is set for $3,000. Help a brother out, Gary!

someone must have said the N word to him and he got pissed. Its like every black persons spark. Say the N word and they go berserk. I agree its offensive but Rappers use this word all the time. So i ask all the African American community if the word is offensive why are you using it. it shows how much hypocrits you are.

We can't all look great all the time. And they must make people look really bad for mug shots. I haven't seen a good one yet. For example the angle of the camera can make a big difference. Why do they have to post them? Just to get bad publicity for some actor? They are as bad as the paparazzi. Give it up, people. Let people have their day in court without all these mug shots posted on the web.

What is the purpose of this "article?" Seriously now. We're making connections to Gary Dourdan and this Hirsch dude for what reason? Random coincidence?
I'm just grateful that MOST (not all) of the people posting comments appear to have read the article and realized there was no real connection between the two pictured. TMZ posting this at all is irresponsible at best ... Slanderous at worst.

Okay all, let's do a recap here as so many of us seem to be confused! I myself had to do a double take. The two pictures are of different men. Shocking, I know. The picture on the left is the CSI guy and the picture on the right is someone who was arrested yesterday. The story is that there is really a freaky resemblance between the actor and the "everyday man." Repeat- they are not the same man.
Geez is the CSI guy and his crew of agents, representatives, etc. going to have a bit of cleaning up to do after this story!
