More than likely he will have to pay spousal support for awhile and pretty much their son can live with who he wants. 287. 89. this sucks for all the Hogan's. i'm shocked. i've always been a big fan. they seemed like a great family. i'm sure Linda has plenty of money to live comfortably. Hulk should NOT have to give her some absorbanate amount of money. HE earned all of it by beating the crap out of his body.

I assume you've never given birth,otherwise you would have never made such an ignorant statement.Especially if you've given birth by c-section.Your body is never the same.He WANTED Linda to stay home with the kids.He controlled them all and Linda got sick of it.

Hulk made the choice to do that to his body.He graduated from college with a Business Degree.He could have made a very good living that way.But as we all know,money is the root of all evil and Hulk got greedy.Another poster mentioned that $50,000(approx.) was missing from his bank account.In the same segment,he admits that Linda had control of the finances.I've been married 23 years,raised 2 kids,was responsible for the finances,kept the house clean,cooked breakfast and supper every night-they ate lunch at school- did all of the laundry,helped with all of the homework,went on all of the field trips...I could go on and on.My husband worked(still does) and I took care of our children and our home.Fortunately our children are adults now and out of the house,and after 23 years of marriage,my husband and I are like newly weds again.I realize we are in the minority in todays world.

When Terry Bollea was named Father of the Year earlier this year,he made a comment in his speech.I'm paraphrasing,but this is very close to what he said"I wish I could split this award two ways because my wife raised the kids.I wasn't around a lot because I was travelling. My wife taught my kids and today,I have 2 great kids to show for it.So thank you Linda,you should be getting this award,not me."
Hogan Knows Best is a reality show.There are hours and hours of editing that must be done for just one episode.At the beginning of this season,VH1 alluded to the fact that The Bollea's were having marital problems.They went to marriage counseling.But we only got to see a very small portion of what was really going on.
Of course this was going on before Nick's accident.So that really blows all of the conspiracy theories out of the water.
From watching the show,I think Hulk Hogan is a control freak.What kind of Father spies on his 18 year old daughter's dates?Sounds kinda incestuous to me.
But the episode that made me think"Wow,this guy is really a piece of crap",was a show in which he went to visit his mother at the Nursing Home.He swaggered in there with his muscle shirt,shorts,sun glasses,headband,and flip-flops on like he was some kind of cool dude.A sweet little old lady was sitting in her wheelchair.Hulk didn't know or care that this woman might have had Alzheimer's Disease,dementia or anything like that.Or that maybe this sweet woman may have been just as sweet to his Mother.He still had to hold up is image in a friggin' Nursing Home of all places.She said"You're that famous wrestler aren't you?"He said"USED TO BE!"She smiled and asked what his name was.He said"Gorgeous George."Then he walked off.And people wonder where Nick got his attitude??
Hulk's head is 100 bigger than his biceps.And I bet his weenie is 1,000 times smaller.
Linda Bollea is listed as a producer of the show.So she did contribute financially.But she still deserves half of it all.She did her job.
And for those people that think Nick did this to his best friend on purpose..I hope you never have anything tragic happen to you.The only difference between most of you and Nick is that he's a teenager with a famous father.If anyone is at fault,it is Hulk himself.You rule with an iron fist,it will come back and punch you in the face.

288. 175. Thank God, that show will not be on anymore!! The Daughter looks and dresses like a who_re, while Hulk says how strick he is with her, and he watches and checks up on her dates?? If Linda and Brooke didnt have the money for the hair dye and Fredericks of hollywood (hooker clothes) clothes we could see just how ugly and FAT they are! What ugly people they are trailor trash, who try to preach morality>.

289. To #279 Miss Kitty, you are so right on. I watched the episode alos where he came in like his crap didn't smell to see his mother and he was arrogant and rude beyond belief. That little lady was someones mother...someones loved one and he blew her off. Yes, this is the so called Father of the Year, the man so many people are pulling for in this so called divorce action. He made his bed in life...and he cannot just walk away from the mother of his 2 kids without any kind of financial compensation. After 23-24 years she should get nothing? I don't think so. I think most of you are missing the point...the "Hogan KNows Best" was scripted, nothing real about it. Terry Bollea put himself, his wife and 2 kids up there for all to see and he may have made some big bucks from it but he lost more...the entire family has paid the price. they came off looking like first class fools. And he looked like the biggest fool...schlepping around in his doo rags, flip flops and seeking every way possible to be in every aspect of Brooke's life...gave me the creeps. Son Nick came across as a moron, poor Brooke, she cannot sing and now looks like a fool. Terry and Linda put themselves on the tube, they gave up all privacy for the almighty dollar and the fact that neither of them could live without the spotlight. Respect their privacy? they gave that up 4 years ago....but it still comes down to one fact....Linda Bollea has been married to that big damn fool for well over 20 years, she had his kids, she raised their butts while he was out ripping his shirts off and she deseves 50% of the money made during their time as a married couple. Sorry but Terry or Hulk does not get off free. And why all the negative crap about her? What in the hell makes you people think he is such a swell guy? He cheated on her time and time again while he was still in wrestling...don't kid yourself. He is no saint and certainly no father of the year.

I also recall feeling a deep sadness, inside.

292. I see it too often. The woman gets a free ride and then expects to be financially supported while she's out getting free meals from, and screwing other guys.

Too often, the man gets screwed in divorces by the courts. If you choose to leave...leave, but don't expect to be financially supported for that decision.

Since SHE filed for the divorce, SHE should pay all her own expences: rent, insurance, food, clothing, gas/fuel, make-up,...etc... including her lawyer.

Reality t.v. doesn't mean death to a marriage , alot of them had big problems way b4 hand . bobby and whitney did drugs way before their show hit ,her interview years ago talkin about " i'm too rich i would do coke crack is whack ..." that showed how bad they had both gotten . Jessica was ditzy as can be that's a huge reason that one didn't work . Linda and Hulk had marital problems within the last year but it got worse when Nick got into that wreck . I respect Hulk so much and have always been a huge fan of his , it was his blood , sweat and tears that let her stay at home and live the quote unquote good life for over 20 yrs , i don't think she should walk away empty handed but i know she'll get half of it all .. and that honestly i don't think she's entitled to half of everything . His career blew up in about 1984 and i think they got married in '83 so i can almost guarantee he didn't have a prenup . there's a couple maybe even a few that have done reality shows and are still together [ couples ] the osbournes , ozzy's so gone in the head sharon can control everything , and gene simmons found a woman he's been with for 20yrs and had 2 kids with and they aren't even married .... she knew he never wanted to get married and got with him anyway .. he's really protecting his net worth and is happy . back to the hulk thing linda didn't do this all for $ , if she did she would've divorced him 10 yrs ago and gotten alimony and child support for both kids longer . some say they are doin it to have money that nicks passenger in the wrecked cars parents can't touch in a lawsuit . which is possible , but i think the chick fell out of love , it's sad cause i think hulk loves her and his kids so much , but it happens in life . I think her racing with brooke in the car a few years ago .. street racing [ it's on youtube ] is CRAZY . and she has no sense of how to spend money wisely .. buyin 6,000 outfits , and hulks rollin around in gym shorts and the 1988 fanny pack look lol. he spends for cars and homes and his kids but he doesn't go nearly as crazy as her . my prayers are with them but i am on hulks side on this one .

294. I love how samantha d, jerk hater, and dark night just simply don't consider all the years she kept up with the kids while Hulk traveled the country. Never mind the sacrafices I am sure she made so he could do what he needed to do. She has just as much, if not more, invested in the 20+ years of marriage.

295. I've watched Hulk Hogan for years (Here that Linda, YEARS !!!) I never saw you in the ring, damaging your body. Hulk Hogan, brought home the bacon, fried it and served it with sunny side up eggs, toast and coffee ! I've seen Linda on tv, and that's all you see on the show ,her boobs always popped out, that's all she ever did, the children are another thing, they should work ! You have Nick wanting to be a wrestler one season and a race car driver the next,make up your mind kid ! Brooke what's to be a 'singer', a 'pop' star, and she cannot sing, again another group of people living off the Hulk Hogan name. I actually heard Linda say on the show, "Hogan Knows Best", that she's worried about Hulk retiring and that would mess up her lifestyle. Give me a damn break, if it wasn't for 30 years of Hulk doing his thing, no one would know about Linda, Nick and Brooke. With family like this who needs enemies.

296. I don't the Hulk is right on this one. Linda has devoted herself to being "Mrs. Hulk Hogan", and I suspect for a majority of that time was being the main parent, so why shouldn't she be entitled to a substantial amount of the substantial amount of money they have? The whole affair seems sad to me; they seemed like a nice family (the kids are brats.) I don't know what her issues are - what led her to this action. His surprise was very revealing, and it seems that now he is just lashing out. It all makes sense emotionally, and I hope that eventually they can calm down and settle things amicably. It's too bad.

297. I watched the Hogan Knows Best Marathon all day today. It was very nice seeing Hulk, Linda and the kids together. I hope you don't let Hogan Knows Best die out. I know how Brooke feels over you guys getting divorced. Getting divorced doesn't mean that you two can't still be friends; just look at other people who come together for the children. You should try to work something out to still have new episodes on air because you are a great man to look at. Don't let Linda take your money though because you worked hard for your money. Also i agree with the part that says Nick is old enough to choose the parent he wants to stay with. Every night at 11 i watch ShowBiz and it gives ME the good news. If i miss it during the day, i catch it at night. He doesn't talk about people too bad. Don't forget that no matter what happens always think about the kids.

Clearly this post was made by a very young woman who has no life experience or self esteem.
LindSAY,I'm going to pose a hypothetical situation for you(and all of The Hulkster's other female fans).Say you grow up,get married,have children,raise those children basically by yourself because your husband either has a job that requires him to travel,or you and your husband mutually decide that he is making enough money to support the family,and you do this for more then 20 YEARS,I GUARANTEE you would want to be compensated financially if you were to divorce.Being a Mother is a full time job,and I believe any Mother that takes her job serious should be commended.And this does not only happen in Hollywood.The Bollea family is from Florida.
Not only did she practically raise those kids by herself,she put up with infidelity on a regular basis.He's The Hulk,women like you would still throw themselves at him simply because he's famous-I believe he's not very famous anymore,I'd consider him infamous.
Did the thought ever occur to you that The Hulkster asked her to have a boob job and she complied,thinking that it would make her more attractive to him so he would stop CHEATING on her??
I've watched most of the series.Linda appears to be a very loving,giving,and caring person.She clearly loves and dotes on her children.She has a genuine and passionate love of animals.She has donated her time and money to many animal charities.She is so gracious to Terry's Mother,even though the woman treats her like crap.Perhaps this is where The Hulkster's(by the way,that is the stupidest name I've ever heard and I hate to even type it) got his Superiority Complex.The apple doesn't fall far from the tree as the saying goes.Fortunately Linda is a totally different type of tree,so there is still hope for the kids.
From my perspective,"that bitch" as you so graciously referred to her,finally realized that her job was done.She raised the children,gave her husband all of the love she had to give,even though he cheated on her countless times,talked down to her..I've often heard him make snarky comments about her intelligence,and controlled her for almost 25 years.She just wants to be happy.Celebrities and every day people all deserve to be happy.I'm sure the kids are very distraught over it,but they've seen what we haven't and they are old enough to deal with it in any way they see fit.Such as therapy etc.I suspect Nick has some deep rooted issues because his Father often acts as if he's not even in the room if Brooke is also present.Terry Bollea's behavior towards his daughter is perverse in my opinion.She looks very much like her Mother and I think ol' Hulk has some pretty impure thoughts when it comes to his daughter.She is a reflection of the past.The days when he and Linda were still young and carefree.I sympathize with both of those kids.They are just pawns in the life of the self proclaimed Greatest Man Alive.
Sorry Hulk,you can't just retire and decide it's time to be the Father and Husband you should have been all along.
