This establishment does not have bouncers because it is not the type of place that usually needs them. That's why I like the place. Plus, the manager is a very good friend of mine.

79. I did have one small regret after it was all over. I thought that I might have painted a target on my back for someone wishing to prove something. I was also glad he didn't have a gun in his car. But happily, after more than a year, no such incidents have taken place. All has been peaceful since then!!!

You make excellent points in post #75. The actions of the oppressors are so horrendous it makes it easier to hate them back. I can not tell you how to fix that problem, but I hope that violence isn't the only answer. You come across to me as an educated, passionate young ... woman I presume? Use your passion, education and literacy for good; perhaps to realise the better sollution. As you said, they will live out their lives limited, and you will live out yours peacefully blessed.

86. Many people on both sides of the current government scare the hell out of me. In the last 7 or so years, I have only seen things get worse. Unless things really change, we are going to have a lot more incidents like this one. As our society crumbles from within, the lines become more drawn as violence continues to escalate. I hope people will refrain from voting strictly along any party lines and will just vote for whoever can do the best job. Personally, I think the bi-partisan ideal needs to be junked. Violence like this is just becoming way to common.

87. A poverty issue?! I'm sure these are children of the great government programs that we have now...gee, they sure turned out great, right? Let's create more government programs to raise our kids, that's just a great idea. Or wait, let's take all of the money from the wealthy; the ones who keep the economy alive, the one's who donate the most money to charities, the ones who pay the most in taxes than anyone else; let's take their money and give it to the poor so the poor unfortunate ones can buy Escalades, platinum teeth, and bling-bling. Let's not teach them that hard work, sacrifice, and education are what create successful people, let's teach them that taking from the rich, living in welfare housing and off of government programs is what creates successful people. This country is going to Hell.

90. My prayers for Sean Taylor's child and her mother and his mom and dad. It is not supposed to be a parent buries their child. Sean, pray for us and the Redskins. As you said God has been good to you, looked out for you, protected you. You lived your life doing something you loved to do, something you were excited to set about doing every day of your life. Just so happended it paid you a "kings randsom". I will never forget the exitement watching you play. I was so looking forward to a long career of highlights with my favorite team. But, you know what they say, if you want to make god laugh just tell him your plans. He had other plans. God Bless you Sean and your familly.
