61. Blacks (13% of the U.S. population) commit 70% of violent crime in this country. This is not an illusion folks, they are a messed up race. STORMFRONT

62. Ok... Enough about "the ghetto's" of the bay. Anyone who really knows the "ins" and "outs" of the bay, the "flat lands", "dog town" even "HP", know that Hayward is not the ghetto. Let's drop CA girl of in Hunter's Point after dark and see how she feels about Hayward then.

63. GET WELL SPICE

It might be true whoever committed this crime is an "idiot" or a "low-life," or that it could be government-related (same thing?), but the fact is that Spice 1 is a highly-talented, intelligent, and creative individual. Raised in the slums, he has used his surroundings as an observational muse to create great music for over 15 years.

I have not had the pleasure of meeting Spice 1, but everyone who I’ve encountered that has met Spice 1 only has good things to say about him: that he has a laid-back, calm disposition, and that he’s a happy person who is pleasant to be around.

I've been listening to Spice 1 since the early 90's, and the lack of respect on this board is indicitive of the youth of today -- who are more accustomed to uninspired musical artists such as “Britney Spears” or “Fall Out Boy.” Today’s youth are more concerned with meaningless distractions, fads, fasions, and gadgets and are really too numb and stupid to differentiate talent from disposable garbage – just listen to a pop radio station.

Music talk aside, the lack of respect on this board is upsetting beause it shows how many people can’t see that a man was shot. That’s the bottom line – whether he’s a rapper or not. This is a man with his own life, his own family & friends, his own dreams & thoughts. Because he is famous (or not famous enough), or because he is a rapper, are not reasons for a person to trivilialze the fact that he was shot. This is another indication of this generation’s numbness to tragedy and their stupiditiy – they can post such things about tragedy because they have nothing better to do or say.

I pray and hope that Spice 1 gets well. After today’s loss of Pimp C, it would be a shame to see another great legend go down. Yes he is a rapper, but at the end of the day he’s a dude like you or me.

66. Ha, shouldn't be too hard to find out who shot him. Probably another rapper. Go figure. Not rocket science folks. After all, the only thing they know and understand is violence. They prove it every day.

70. I feel bad, having to do this but I feel my race needs it, we REFUSE to face reality.

We won't listen to other Black People that urge us to stop IDOLIZING NEGATIVITY.

Here's a list of Rappers who have been KILLED, since rap has begun, it's safe to say as the article states. This is not even a complete list.

Unfortunately I think we will have to be SHAMED INTO CHANGE

SORRY MY PEOPLE BUT WAKE UP, WE NEED ALL EXCUSES TO BE TAKEN AWAY.

Compare Lindsey, Paris and Nicole to this---Those Cards need to be taken away, there is NO COMPARASION.

71. I know alot of you defend rap stuff (music not really), all I want to know is why they aren't shooting country singers? Not many pop singers shot lately, or rock but they just overdose. Rap is not dieing it's killing it's self. This is sooo bad that you really can't defend it, unless you just a dumbass without brains!!
