McConaughey -- Slouching Toward Bedlam

It was a frigid, frenetic night in Manhattan Tuesday, but for Matthew McConaughey, everything seemed to move ... very ... very ... slowly, despite the insane paparazzi crush.


The staggering surfboy and Brazilian bombshell Camilla Alves were at the Dolce & Gabbana fragrance launch last night, and he took his own sweet time getting into his car. While he dispatched his female guests just fine, while speaking what sounded like Portuguese, something overtook him as he tried to seat himself.

Perhaps it was brain freeze. Perhaps not.

9. WTF??? He's wasted. He should have gotten in the damn car first instead of pretending to assist the women. That's pathetic. Bet they were really proud to be seen with him. He just took Woody Harrelsons place when Woody got older and could'nt get roles. He never got any good ones anyway.

10. Ok, that's just beyond weird! He was either on something that made him "not there" or he's injured in some way. He was walking rather stiff similar to the way people move when their backs are hurt. Maybe pain meds? It would be interesting to find out....if it's really SOMETHING, it will come out later. 14. Ah Poja! Ele falando Portuguese! ( or something like that?) Br. Port. is a cool language! Muito legal! Very cool! It flows like French with out the difficult spelling and has the ease of Spanish! I think I remember that Matt speaks Spanish, so it's not a big jump over to Portuguese. Brazil is full of super hot looking people, especially women! Love that place!

15. Harvey, was this the kind of crap that was you're true intention when you set out to make as much money as you could off the fame that rubbed off on you for covering the O.J. murder case?

It was of some value to the general public what you were doing in the beginning, covering crimes being committed by celebrities that your reporting exposed what rarely saw the light of day before you came along. I really believed that you were serving a purpose, leveling the Judicial playing field so to speak, Paris Hilton and others had to go to court just like the rest of us if we stepped over the line, less and less we were hearing about the back room deals that were meant to salvage the image but in retrospect were teaching celebrities that they belonged to a higher class were special people are never asked to be responsible for their own actions.

However somewhere along the way you sold out to the gossip rags or you just saw becoming one yourself as the best way to make the most you could off the deaths of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson.

Going bald or going to the beach after a healthy meal are not crimes and nor is the desire to have private moments. Also people go out to dinner all the time they have a good time. In this case we have somebody with the good sense to pay somebody sober to drive him home... not only is this not a crime it's the opposite of committing a crime.

Once again I feel the need to tell you that this stuff is an embarrassment. You want to do something of value make sure that the Bolea/Hogan family is held responsible for their crimes and greed.
