32. I love kiefer too, but c'mon the second DUI, and only serving 48 days (if that) ..... Yes, way more (days) then his female counterparts/celebritants got.......whatever!!! Why are judges basically saying as long as you are a celebrity it is OK to Drive Drunk! NO Consequences...Whatsoever!!!!!!!........Do they have to kill someone??

38. This not Kiefer's second DUI - it's his FOURTH.

The first two were pleaded down to reckless driving. He was still on probation from the third when he got the DUI he is currently in for.

And he's been through that court-ordered rehab crap many times before. It obviously has not helped.

Next time he drives drunk (and you know he will, he's an alcohol addict) I only hope he kills himself and not some innocent person. Sadly, that's not how most drunk driving accidents happen. Innocent people die and the drunk walks away without a scratch. If he's a celebrity, he won't serve much time for taking a life either.

41. He Seems to Be Handling it Well has said it very nicely..Good Canadian Bad Boy...doing his time with his mouth shut and with more concern for the jobs of his co-workers than his own ego. This is how they should all behave, never mind doing the crime in the first place. These immature female brats should have done just as many days and had driving taken away for 2 years. 43. I agree with #3, Claire in her comments about Lindsay getting such light time compared with Sutherland. (She even had cocaine in her pocket when she was arrested) Paris violated her probation and was driving under the influence on her last reckless driving charge and only served 26 days. Good luck Kiefer, you are standing tall and apologetic unlike Mel Gibson and a few other celebrities who have alcohol and or drug problems and show no real remorse or humility.

44. You are wrong if you think what jail he is in makes a diffrence. If you believe that you have never lost your freedom. There is no way he wont learn something from this.

It should only take about an hour of no freedom for most people to make sure it never happens again. Other than real criminals who seem to enjoy jail.
