Worst Trip to a TV Taping Ever

A chartered bus packed with Dr. Phil fans crashed in Hollywood today, after the driver says the brakes failed on the runaway vehicle. Get out of the way!

A spokesman for the L.A. City Fire Department says 19 people were taken to the hospital as a precaution, but there were no serious injuries.

A rep for "Dr. Phil" says the show chartered the bus to take fans to a taping of the show -- they never got there. All is not lost, however, as the rep said the show's producers planned to invite those on the bus back for lunch and to watch the taping of their 1,000th episode. "We're grateful that people are all right, and we hope that their next trip back to Dr. Phil will be less eventful and much more fun," the rep said. "His thoughts are with them."

"Dr. Phil" tapes on the Paramount lot in Hollywood, a short distance from where the bus crashed.

16. Thanks TMZ.. When they first posted this the last line said said "where the bush, not bus crashed." I see you changed your mind, and removed the comments.

18. 30 years ago, when a cop pulled over vehicles for any traffic violation - often he asked you to step out while he got inside to pump the brake pedal to test the sufficiency of the vehicle's brakes. Los Angeles cops don't do that anymore. If they did, incidents like this one could be prevented because there are vehicles on the roads and streets that have impaired brakes.

Wouldn't surprise me that the American Civil Liberties Union put a stop to cop's testing vehicle brakes because somebody complained that illegal alien's were being unfairly profiled for impaired brakes while driving without a valid license :)

23. Dr. Phil really has become a real blowhard. He thinks he is God, and I am sick of him and how he has his wife on stage with him giving advice like she was a doctor too! Now, he's even promoting his son Jay! He's a money grubbing egotistical fat ass. How dare he give advice, when he couldn't even make his first marriage work due to his control issues!

24. Phil's staff are young. They discriminate against audience people older than age 38. They only want photogenic people not average or the wrinkled folks. Watch his show sometime and see for your self that there are no old people and no fat people in the audience. I personally know the dude who books the audience for many talk-shows and all those shows restrict old people.

26. Good news and bad news. The good news is no one on the bus was seriously injured. The bad news is the bus didn't plow into Dr. Phil. Or Rosie. Or Barbara Streisand. And how'd you like to have a "Dr. Phil House" next door to you? Wow.... wouldn't that just be wonderful for your property value?

27. Guess Phil wanted to polish his image, so this time they were transporting the 80 year olds to the show and put 'em on a bus without brakes. That's one way to keep 'em off camera.

30. TMZ you suck for removing your mistake, and suck even more for removing the comments that went along with it...what happened to free speech? Also, Dr. Phil can at least be entertaining...Oprah is a huge egotistical fat ass....does nobody else wonder why she puts her big fat face on the cover of every single issue of her magazine?
