1. I first saw this "act" when I was about 4 or 5...my dad used to do it all the time, and my uncle used to kill himself laughing. When I first saw the FG movie, I knew I had to jump to the phone and call...well...EVERYONE in my family...but I couldn't, since I was on the floor laughing. I don't think my dad could believe what he was seeing...but, more importantly, none of us could believe that the name Art Metrano would once again become known....as obscure a reference as it may be. I will never forget the name, from here on out, and, well, exposure is exposure. Plus, FOX isn't exactly new around the courtroom...I'm one of many that have been "asked" nicely (legal letterhead and all) to remove content from websites, or face the wrath. Godspeed, Art....you won't win, but you are now known!

4. yeah... i have a video of my husband from years ago doing this act... same tune as jesus and everything and when we saw the family guy movie we just about pissed ourselves laughing. and my husband sounded way more like the cartoon than the metrano guy.

stupid litigious society we live in....

5. love family guy and it appears to be the same to me, of course it is probably a "imiataion is the best form of flattery" type thing. he must need the money. they copy stuff from tons of shows, so i don't think it is a big deal. i like when they copy the twilight zone myself.

6. Family Guy does constant popular culture references. Wouldn't the appropriation of this piece of popular culture, portrayed by Jesus, be considered a parody and therefore protected? It's a spoof.

7. The Family Guy version is funnier. That non talented jerk should be happy. It made his crap famous all over again.

9. Yes they may have stolen his 'act' but he needs to get over it, this guy is a loser and needs to deal with the fact that his so called 'career' is over. This is just his way of striving for attention.

10. Why does he care, I'd be psyched if the Family Guy wanted to copy ANYTHING that i've ever done.

12. being that i have never heard of that guy, he should be delighted that a show like that would even consider him.. id take as a compliment buddy....

13. Hey, Art, you should THANK Family Guy! It's an honor to be spoofed by that show...and it's making you famous again. Lighten up or Seth McFarlane will probably taunt you mercilessly on future shows.

14. How can this guy say Jesus stole it from him when Jesus lived 2000 years ago? Jesus should sue him!

15. How can 57% actually say "lighten up"? He should definitely get paid. It's HIS material!!
