16. TO BUBBLGUMPRINCESS

Is that you again, Deb? Calling people "losers". Methinks this is self-projection, my dear.

17. This guy needs to lighten up. People are so money hungry these days. He should consider it a compliment.

18. family guy didn't steal his act...they are just straight out making fun of him. it's called a parody . this guy is going to waste a lot of money suing for something he cannot win.

19. My grandfather did that act for me 15 years ago when I was a kid and it would always make me laugh. Nice try guy, but I think a lot of people feel the same as me, no way you invented that! Neither did Family Guy, it's one of those things that would be neat for someone to do the research to find out where it actually originally stemmed from.

20. Yeah, it seems less like Family Guy stole "funny" material from some broke ass comedian, and more like Family Guy is making fun of an unfunny sketch from some broke ass comedian. It's all parody. Now had the Pharisee's been laughing it up like a bunch of drunken morons, he might have a case.

21. 12. How can 57% actually say "lighten up"? He should definitely get paid. It's HIS material!!

some think this stuff will slip by and no one will catch it. 'Took awhile for him to actually file suit and since he's only asking for 2 million- They should cough it up it was extremely close, very similar-the one's tune was hummed faster is all. When the Police Academy movies were new and fresh we all enjoyed him, why is he a loser now?.
Are all your mothers losers because they are old news? Is she a loser because you go to college or move away? Does your mom lose relevance because she is older or because you don't see her everyday? NO
He is still a valid human being. Seth could have contacted him, and collaborated-he's going around to colleges doing "stewie" voices-he knows he reaches the masses. If anybody would-I can see Seth sampling comedy from all sources to be stimulated for his work.
How cold and heartless are we in this society? Did you know 1895-1925 There was an all black HOCKEY team? No because we don't care, and if we can we sweep what we don't like under the rug, for those of you who may care its on YouTube.com look under African-American Hockey-Thank You "Youth is wasted on the young."

22. Family Guy "steals" everything from pop culture, that's nothing new.
What's "new" to me is that DVD came out like 4 years ago and this guy is getting around to suing now? If anyone should be insulted by that DVD is Britney Spears. Did you see their spoof of her in the future as a fat, diabetic cripple trying to make a comeback? They bit her right on the head...that is CLASSIC!

23. they parody everyone in family guy but i think unless his act his copyrighted, he will have a hard time winning this case.

24. It's supposed to be 'identical in music, sound, and action', it's called a PARODY and it's what Family Guy does. If everyone were looking for a handout like this guy, this show wouldn't have any of those out-of-context references. In other words, it wouldn't exist!

25. Almost everything family guy DOES are parodies! Way to point out the obvious Mr. Metrano.

27. It's not a parody..it is a direct steal..of what was,at the time,a totally origional act. Very talented guy, with a very difficult life..He deserves some compensation..Creative people should be creative..not steal from other creative people.

28. Nine times out of ten a performer will simply give permission to do a parody of their act. Why? Because it calls attention to it, and it's also quite flattering.

Had the good people over at FAMILY GUY gotten Metrano's permission, none of this would ever have taken place.

It's simply a matter of courtesy.

29. I bet Stewie would like to do some finger magic in Art Metrano's anus.

30. Ok, everybody STOP talking, breathing, walking and everything else you do everyday of your life. Because GUESS WHAT somebody else has already done it!!! It's Family Guy; get over yourself. It's what they do. Anyways, who trademarked the sound daa...?? You know how many babies utter that sound every single day!!!
