Here is a clip of Art Metrano on "The Tonight Show" ...

46. I do agree they should have asked and thrown some $$$ his way.
I don't believe he will win a lawsuit though, it seems pretty clear that the act is public domain. The comedian did it on the Tonight Show, I am sure people were doing it all over America for the next few weeks, months or years, the Tonight Show was that huge in its day.

47. I LOVE Family Guy, however, if anyone should be suing Family Guy it's the creator of The Simpsons. You can take most Family Guy episodes and find a very similar Simpsons storyline (which are then repeat again on American Dad). Seth MarFarlane is all about pushing the limits. He will win the lawsuit and get tons of attention for his show.

49. Keep in mind that the writers get paid quite well, and the fact that they just watch T.V. and animate what they see is....sad. There are a million other things that J.C. could of been doing other then this guys act. A little bit of real writing would not have killed these guys. Now whether it was legal or not I don't know.

50. Coming from a Real Magician, I dont like the way they obviously did steal the act, but the guy should lighten UP. That is Not a magic act but a childish act that my nephew could outdo. Is that what is called entertainment? Do you REALLY think thjat that is worth $ 2 000 000? Why not rather get on the Case of Criss Angel and Amazing Jonathan STEALING one of Mr Escape - Steve Baker's Signature Escapes from the 80's and making as if it is their own "original" idea and still using it on one of the Mindfreak shows.
There are Worse cases of theft going on out there that seem to be going UN NOTICED!

51. This kinda stuff is low, This was obviously intended to be a reference to the guy and his act, some of the writers might have actually admired some of his work. But rather than see the good intentions, all this comedian sees is so-called damages. Shame good writers can't reference the work of others they admire without someone seeing money involved. I would say "What-chu talkin' bout Metrano?" but Gary Coleman might have lawyers whispering in his ear too.
