33. #17 - A kid goes through a fairly typical clothing/music phase and that makes his parents bad parents? You'd prefer your kid become a jock clone, putting date rape drugs in girls' drinks and choking on his own vomit? There are ugly stereotypes for every type of conformist uniform. Just because the goth uniform wasn't your uniform of choice, doesn't mean you didn't also participate in some retarded form of conformity, as most teens do. Yours was probably just the plaid skirt and penny loafers, give all the boys oral while deriding girls who read books type. I'll take the form of "cool" that includes questioning authority and thinking for yourself over the "get drunk and screw the popular yet dimwitted!' genre any day.
