103. I work with a ad photographer, and I can tell you that very likely the underwear IS padded, but not so much for size, but because Armani wants you to notice the underwear, not the outline of the model's privates jiggling around in there!
It could also be that his size was exaggerated in order to make more of an impact (even incredulous disbelief)--remember, it's not really about David Beckham (as far as the company is concerned...it's about Armani selling a product, and making people notice it.
