79. buzz bomber, obviously you don't know what you are talking about. I own a pitbull, I've had him every since we found him all tied up in a parking lot, starved, and bitten up. Our vet CONFIRMED that the dog had been used to train on in a pit bull fighting ring. In the entire 10 years we've owned him, we haven't EVER seen ONE BIT of aggressiveness. A dog is a dog is a dog. A pit bull will attack a child if the proper training and supervision is not given, just like a blood hound, german shepard, poodle, or collie will. Read a friggin book before you open your big fat un educated mouth.

This judge is a racist . Vic should pay restitution to an animal shelter, going to jail does not serve any real purpose only to those racists rednecks. 82. As an african american, I can say that I HAPPY that he was finally sentenced.

People like him are what gives black men bad reputations. He should have held himself to a higher standard, and he should have known better. God did not mean for us to harm and torture his innocent creatures. We are all created in his own image. It's sick and disgusting what he did. Did any of you see the photo of the dog that was missing his nose and half of his mouth?

ANY man that could stand back and be a part of what he was a part of, is a sick indivisual, regardless of skin color.

I am sorry fellow brothers and sisters, but I don't understand how you can defend him. As one of you, I know you want to stand up for him because he is your brother. I am sorry to tell you that he failed us, and we should all be ashamed.

I hope he quietly disappears for the rest of his life.

83. Just to snap the supporters of Vick back into reality.......the dog fighting issue is only one part of Vick's legal troubles. His lawyers negotiated a plea deal, knocking off literally years of jail term for tax evasion, gambling, gambling across state lines..............racketeering. Federal crimes. Michael Vick cheated & stole from the American public.that means you . He is facing State charges now..............no not double jeopardy. He can be charged & face another jail term.

89. I hope Mike learned from this and will be able to get his life back when he gets out of prison. I think he did a terrible stupid thing, but has been made to pay an unfair price. Pitbuls who are trained to fight are always put to sleep when captured. As a matter of fact all pitbulls are put to sleep when captured. Yet they are keeping his alive and making him pay 1M for their care. That's some of that good old racism in the "justice" system we keep trying to tell you people about. As pissed off as I was at him, they now have me feeling sorry for the man.
