20. Saw them here in Edmonton, in concert last night, was amazing. Eddie looks great he is in good shape. Wolfgang fit well and you can see how proud Eddie is to have him there. I agree with the why the hell would you let a 16 year old on tour but WTF he isn't my kid.

I was there last night myself. I think Eddy is looking better with age and he just makes me say.... WOW!
DLR looks like he shaved off his body hair and stuck it on his head, but still holds the charm in a geeky kind of way.
I was impressed. Great reviews in the papers.

25. they say his teeth are like that from chemo due to his cancer. That pic is a year or two old. He has new white teeth now and a new haircut. He is still a creep though, from all accounts. I think its karma for screwing mike Anthony, too...

26. Saw Van Halen Friday night in Calgary, and they still have it. Eddie doesn't look like this old photo; he has short hair, new teeth and looks fit. His guitar solos and riffs were more skilled and polished than ever, if that's even possible. He's an absolute guitar genius, no question; and the audience was awestruck by his inventive virtuosity. Diamond Dave is a better singer now, aided no doubt by less grandiose physical stunts and more focus on the vocals, plus it's obvious that he's just having a ball doing this again, and this time with sincere appreciation and affection. Alex hit the skins with typical metronomic and dynamic skill, and was a superb backbone for Wolfie to follow. Wolfie fit right in, and the boy has 'it', even if Mike would have played with superior dynamic punch in the pockets gleaned from his years of experience. It is absolutely appropriate musically for the 16 year old son of Eddie Van Halen to tour, IMHO; you'll never get a better future resume than playing base for Van Halen on tour; plus (quite) a few million in the trust fund for his future will allow him security and the freedom of any career he wants, not to mention the possible one-off chance of playing alongside his legendary father, as time stands still for no one. Their show is so worth the money if you like or ever liked Van Halen.

27. To Shannon, Eddie had some type of mouth and/or throat cancer. Had part of his tongue removed. His wife, Valerie Bertinelli, left him after he continued smoking after the surgery. I guess what Eddie is lacking in common sense he makes up for it in spades with guitar playing!

Can't image why parents would allow a 15 or 16 year old to tour--WITH VAN HALEN--Remember the old days?! Hope it is not being repeated.

29. Like someone said before, Karma is a bite in the you know where. I guess that's what he gets for booting Mike Anthony! I will never accept some 16 year old little fat kid in place of Mike no matter who his daddy is. Eddie will learn one day. Or maybe he won't, either way I won't support it. I'd just as soon sit it out and not go and I won't.
