Nicole Richie: From Yenta to Yentl?

Pregnant paparazzi princess Nicole Camille Escovedo Richie was snapped with a group of Orthodox Jewish admirers on Monday -- the seventh day of Hanukkah. L' chaim!

The 26-year-old ex-con/unmarried shiksa mom-to-be held up a menorah and posed for a kosher pic, while at a Nordstrom in Los Angeles. Gevalt!

Who knew Nicole had such observant fans?!

48. Damn! Those two jewish boys on the right are HOT! Religious boys with beards are sooooo cute. Shame about the one on the left though, he kinda messed up the whole pic. Lol, he looks like he got in a fight with a lawn-mower...and lost! U G L Y!

Anyhow, its good to see somebody is having a positive impact on Nicole. Although, ditching that plucked chicken on the left might be better for PR, ya know?

50. Hanukiah (9 branches), not menorah 7 branches)... and that just looks lke a box of candles she's holding, not an actual menorah or hanukiah. Or it's an *extremely* short one.

55. Oh my god! This was so inspiring...I was never religious and I never went to hebrew school or learned Alef Beis but now that I see these jewish guys working so hard I have a strong desire to farbreng and to koch in the rebbe's inyonim. I've decided to abandon Gashmiyas in pursuit of a more fulfilling Ruchniyasdike life. Thank you,
Kind Handsome Religious Boys!

58. Just to comment:
These Orthodox Jewish boys did not think of her as their "idol," in truth, they didn't know who she was. What did happen is that they were spending some of their own time giving out free Menorahs to Jews who didnt have any or didn't know about Hanukkah, and when they approached her, they were told she was jewish, so they offered her a Menorah (and yes...that box does contain candles, a menorah, a dreidel etc...).
Dont you think it would be best to find out more information before making such accusations carte-blanche?

59. Thank you anonymous. Someone finally talking sense. But I don't think you wrote that that box DOES CONTAIN A MENORAH in it big enough. Great job Bochrim. Keep up the good work.

60. I must say that i am very proud of my fantastic chabad bochurim that sacrifice their time just to spread more light into the world by acts of goodness and kindness as our rebbe wanted from us and this will definitely help bring moshiach. Bochurim, keep up the great work!!! Make chabad more famous!!!
