138. One more thing... shame, shame, shame. Personal life is just that, personal. Unless you were there, shut your hole. That includes; spousal abuse and plastic surgery. It has been over 25 years of Rick Springfield bashing and I am sick to death of it. He is a talented musician and an even more talented writer who never got the credit he's due simply because of the crappy people out there who either never gave him the chance or who were jealous of his good looks. Shame on you.

139. All of you are just jealous cause he looks better than you do! Leave the man alone. You all need to stop talking about him from the past,this is the present. For your info!! He's still touring,and got a "Christmas With You" cd out,and by next year,in the spring is going to have a new cd release. I think if you did what he did you would be tired looking to. 140. After 25 years, people still remember Rick's name and his songs. He, and they, have stood the test of time. Additionally, his concerts are more fun now than in the 80s. Here is a man who has honed his talent over the years. He's concentrated his time on his family and music/songwriting. I'd rather admire someone of his calibur, rather than the rappers, the vapid Paris Hiltons, the airhead Brittneys, etc. How many of us will remember them 25+ years from now?

141. TMZ must have HAD to wait a long time to get a BAD shot of Rick. Heck, he would have smiled for the photographer had they just asked. He is the sweetest, most gracious, appreciative, accomodating, talented HOT HOT HOT celeb I know!!! He is a 100% genuine songwriter, singer, muscian, DAD, actor, pet lover, performer. At 58 Rick is as handsome as he ever was and is in better shape than most 30 year olds I know. Rick's efforts on the behalf of others is amazing.

TMZ should do their research before they take shots at anyone... and I do believe Rick has lived in Malibu over 20 yrs and has been performing over 100 concert dates a year for the last 7-8 years and still going strong.

144. I've seen Rick in concert 6 times in the last 2 years. As a matter of fact, I caught his 2 Florida shows this past weekend which were both incredible. I met him for the 3rd time Friday night and was lucky enough to have him right in front of me shaking my hand while he was performing "Human Touch" during the show. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face all night after he looked at me with his beautiful eyes and smile (Not to mention that body). If he partied in his youth, it hasn't effected his ability to be a wonderful giving man in life and put on great concerts and put out great music. This photographer caught him trying to enjoy his coffee for pete sake. Rick loves his coffee folks, After last weekend he deserves a little quiet time, so he probably wasn't too happy when this shot was taken and it showed. He is 58 not 28, not that you could ever tell that seeing him in concert. He is a gifted rocker, friendly, fun, amusing and so wonderful to wade through the crowds in the audience of his shows. Most men should be grateful if they look like him when they're 58. Where can I find a man like that? His wife is a lucky woman. His true fans will always get that he's human and allowed to have a bad moment or 2 just like the rest of us. Gee, I hope Rick comes back to Florida in '08.

145. TMZ and other sites similar DO THRIVE on finding un-flattering shots. That is what they do.
But like most know..that have Seen Rick ...LIVE IN CONCERT or that have met him in person...well we know he has aged well. Rick does perform like a guy in his 20's. Seriously to doubters...go see a show. Rick performs about 100 shows a year, and is also a wonderful person to meet. And has always had a very youthful appearance.

Also keep in mind..the smaller photo is from 25 years ago. Rick does not need make up. BUT when you are on TV...they do put makeup on everyone normally...THEN and even NOW.

If only we can age so well. If that is what 58 looks like...YEAH!

He's my idol, my icon, my hero, my knight in shiny armor...if all men on this earth has the virtue, talent, heart, warmth, and just down to earth niceness of Rick, EVERYBODY will be happy...he is one in a million, as a performer, musician, and as a person in general...but please don't take my word for it, cuz more time and space for us fans at concerts...you see, we want Rick for ourselves...

149. Okay firstly Rick did not beat his wife. Watch his A & E special is was a heated argument a pickle jar or some crap got tossed. His sister-in-law heard and called the cops. No charges were pressed. Due to California law any domestic call someone is getting arrested. He is not a wife beater. That being said he looks younger than my darn 29 year old husband and he is still very dreamy bet he looks better than the majority of 58 year olds in this country.

So what if he has had plastic surgery anyway. I have seen him live in person one foot away from me in the last few months and he is hot, hot, hot. Plastic surgery or not. He is in great physical shape and his arms, stomach and pecks look fantastic. Catch a clue TMZ!
