136. People like FIbiker are the reaon this country id going the way it is. "It's not worth chasing a stolen car".. If it was your mom's car, would it be worth it? You simple bastard! Of course you don't want the cops driving like roscoe, but you don't let them go. It's time that states start taking car theft seriously. Most people Have to work hard to scrape up a decent down payment, then pay for a car for 5 years. If the judge gives a carthief 5 years of hard labor, maybe that thief will decide that the car's not worth it.

138. just to clarify- the police were not in pursuit at the time of the accident- they had only turned their lights on after running the plates on the saturn that turned out to be stolen. blame the driver of the stolen vehicle and quit assuming that it's the police.

139. #137 Chris
2 people are dead from chasing after a stolen used saturn. You're saying it was worth the death of those two young people over a piece of crap used saturn? Can you possibly be that ignorant?

140. Q. Message #5

You must be from my town. Dr. T will be misssed. The woman who hit him should have had a more severe punishment. Let her be an example of what will not be tolerated!

141. It is in no way the cop's fault! It was the idiots in the stolen car. They should be charged with premeditated murder!!

142. Rat- you are an idiot. What is all this ranting about the police commissioner being a transexual got to do with what happened? Take your bigotry elsewhere, what a douche bag!

143. The suspect, an ex-con on probation, took off as soon as the police turned on their lights. The accident happened a block away when they ran the red light and broadsided Bratt’s car.

144. I have a good Idea lets blame the crooks for once, instead of the police and society, and who ever else we can blame.

145. To all the worthless pieces of S*** blaming the cops: would you rather the cops have let them get away with the stolen car so that the other worthless pieces of S*** could wake up tomorrow and high-jack YOUR car, and possibly shoot you in the process?!

146. That one poster is right...Heather Fong (an Asian American woman) is the police chief, and even if the other woman was, what difference does someone's sexual orientation mean to the job they perform...nothing. My cousin is an SFPD officer and is certainly not corrupt and does his job well. He works in a fairly high crime area. I am not pleased with the way some ignorant people are portraying these officers. This is not the fault of the SFPD but some criminals. My sympathies to Mr. Bratt, his family and the family of the other victim. At least the criminals are behind bars. It is sad though, like someone else said, that the people who commit these kinds of crimes usually live and innocent people are killed.

147. Idiots like FlBiker need to be kept on their medication and remain locked up for blaming Police. Two thugs chose to steal a car and drive irresponsibly killing an innocent driver. End of story. It should be a hanging offence. Blame fools like FlBiker for attitudes like his that cause deaths.

148. Idiots!! It wasn't a Tranny who ran a light and killed a young life , two lifes!! And it wasn't an illegal it was a SELFISH HUMAN BEING who killed those 2 poor people. Cops chasing is wrong, being a native SFer I was praying it wasn't happening here and now this. So sad for the families..DEPPEST prayers. We hear about this on news before everyone knew it was a famous persons relative..We were so schoked the minute we hear of the terrible news about our beautiful panhandle (end of Golden Gate Park ) We are so saddened and our prayers to all involved. We love San Francisco..if you don't just stay away..PLEASE.
