The police should shoot them for driving a car or beat them, and I am a dooofus (sp).
Did your parents make you wear a helmet when you were a child.

109. TMZ! SHAME! Your headline made it seem as if Bratt's nephew was the bad guy being chased by police. Sloppy reporting/headlines like this cause misery for the blameless.

110. Oh that is so sad. Oh my gosh. Our prayers for their family.

111. I live in the area and it was breaking news @ around 6:30 am. The police were not "pursuing" the stolen car in a high speed chase.

They ran the plates, the car came up stolen then they turned on the red lights....That's when the car took off thru the red light and hit the other car.

They did not reveal the names at the time. I am just now hearing who it was and it is such a sad story....... I feel so badly for the family.

113. To poster number 2..

Maybe the perpetrators shouldn't have stolen the car, that would have negated the police chase and therefor solved the whole problem and avoided 2 needless deaths.....

After all the Police were just doing their jobs and the two innocent victims were just living they're lives.

Did you happen to think of that????

114. It doesnt tell me why they were chasing these losers. The San Francisco Police better have a good excuse for why they were chasing them, I am not saying these losers are not at fault, but come on , The Police need to take some responsibility for chasing them and putting other citizens at risk.

115. Why blame the police? They didn't steal the car nor did they try to outrun themselves.

My sympathies to the Bratt families.

116. Why do we have police if they can't do their jobs? Criminals already own the streets, now they will own the town, If they rob a bank, don't chase them, if they murder a citzen don't chase them. So when do we catch these people or do we???

119. The police have helicopters to chase stolen cars but the cops on the ground never ever slow down. Stupid macho pigs kill innocent people like this every day. What's a Saturn worth anyway? It's senseless.

My condolences to the Bratt family and to the other kids family too. Very sad.

Go tune in to fox news and let Bill O'Reilly scare you some more, you seem to like it. These guys weren't robbing a bank, kidnapping anyone or murdering anyone. They were in a piece of crap stolen car that could have been tracked by other means.
Now 2 people are dead over the police chasing a stolen car, hardly seems worth it.
